You would expect Taehyung to hate going to therapy, but if he was to be honest, he quite loved it. Going 3 times a week to see Ryujin and Ms. Ellie with their nice smiles and nice gifts for him every time, he couldn't wait to go every time someone mentioned taking him.
Yoongi was glad he wasn't scared about going and trying to get back to his old self, it made him happy that he at least wanted to try.
After about a month, Ms. Ellie got to know him quite well, only wanting the first month to be just getting to know each other, before they got down to the real work.
"Ms. Ellie, what if I don't go back to my old self? What if I just act like it forever, but never change?" Taehyung whined, looking at himself in the mirror to see his hair turning green a little. He needed to get it fixed.
"Oh don't say those things Taebear, we'll get you back to the old you in no time, I swear." The blue haired male turned to look at her with a confused look.
"You didn't say you promised." Sighing, the raven pulled back he straight hair that was kind of held back by her red plastic headband before she walked over to him.
"I don't really like the word promise, it doesn't really hold a huge value." She explained.
"But...what does it personally mean to you?" He asked, watching as she grabbed his hand sbefore she looked at them, a sweet smile on her lips.
"When I was 12, my dad promised me he would be back in about an hour before our favorite tv show came on, which start at 8, but he never came back. I soon found out that he got in a car wreck, and he sadly passed."
"Oh, I'm sorry Noona."
"It's fine, really. I've dealt with the fact that I had a few things I wanted to tell him, but was too late to. I came to the conclusion that I had to move on and not let the pass devour me into the sad place where I couldn't enjoy my life outside of his death." Ellie explained, rubbing his slim fingers before she sighed once again.
"Do you want to talk about your parents?" A scared look froze on Taehyung's eyes as he immediately shook his head.
"N-no thank you."
"Hey hey, it's ok. I want you to be as comfortable as ca be, ok?" The older softly said, using one of her hands to rub his cheek as his eye leaked a tear.
"...They hurt me Ells." He painfully whispered.
"Here, let's talk about it together on the couch."
Flashback
"You stupid piece of shit." His father growled in anger, throwing a glass object at his son, watching as he dodged it with big tears in his eyes.
"I wanted to have a son that could take my company with ease, that could be brave, confident, cold, yet I have a weak, pathetic son that turns into a stupid ass little and loves MEN! Not women, BUT FUCKING MEN!!" He shouts, only making the younger tremble in his spot.
"P-papa, p-please." Taehyung cried, watching his father's eyes and he swears, he saw them change into a red color.
"I don't deserve a son like you, you little faggot." His father spat, hearing his son's pathetic cries of sorries, only showing that he really and truly was weak.
"You better be glad your mother is home, otherwise I would've beaten you until you changed fucking colors." The older said, so much disappointment laced in his voice before he walked away in his dark blue suit, letting the younger get swallowed in a hole that was his corner.
-
His mother smiled at him weakly, her thin and small hand shakily placing itself on her son's cheek while he slept in the corner."I'm so sorry sweetie, I'll get you out of here one day, I promise, even if it's a way neither one of us want it." She whispers, a tear falling from her eye as she closed them, glad her husband was away for work.
Picking up her already weak body, she tried her best to pick up her son and take him to his room, only to fall back down from just lifting his arms. She always tried to make sure he was well feed, that it wasn't that easy to pick him up and toss across the room compared to her.
She wanted to show him a good example of what real love is, what it feels like for someone to care for you whereas when someone doesn't. No his dad wasn't playing along, this was what he always did, and she had no control over it.
Big tears fell from her eyes as she started to sob, knowing she won't last long here, especially with her condition. She might be in her late 30s, but she was weak, weaker than her son. She looked like a dry noodle, her skin sticking to her bones almost, her ribcage full on show almost. She was luckily abole to hide it with her clothes. That way her son couldn't see.
"I wish I could give you so much better baby," Bigger tears fell from her eyes as she held his hand, "I-I'm so sorry."
-
"Get the leash and put it on him." His father demanded his mother, looking at the crying boy while his mother slowly and weakly made her way to the leash, tears falling from her eyes, muttering a sorry to her son before she put it on him.She walked back over to her husband as he placed his arms around her, a frown on his face.
"You're gaining some weight sweetie." He whined, looking at her so he couldn't see the hate his son held for him at how he always calls her fat.
"I-I'm sorry hun, I'll lose some more." She weakly said, her head feeling dizzy from not having anything at all already today, and it was 7 at night.
"It's ok babygirl, I understand you're trying." Kissing her cheek, he basically threw her to the side, letting her weak leaf-like body just fall to the ground before he grabbed the leash that was on the collar he put on his son before he pulled it up, choking him.
"You will never get my love, not until you man up and tell me you've changed."
"B-but P-p-papa, I have-"
"No you haven't, you're just going to say that so I can stop, but I know you haven't." He snapped, pulling harder on the leash as the boy let out small whimpers, his throat burning already as it was.
-
Taehyung opened his mother's bedroom door to see her eyes trying to stay awake as she laid in bed, a sad frown on his lips before he closed the door, making sure he didn't make so much noise that his dad didn't hear from the other room."Mama, I have some food for you." He softly whispered, watching her smile her boxy smile that looked liked his.
"Sweetie, your father doesn't want me to gain anymore weight."
"But Mama, I can't stand seeing you like this. Look at me compared to you, it should be the other way around." The blue brunette cried softly, giving her the soup he just finished before he started to feed her it.
"One day baby, I'll be able to get you out of here, you'll be able to go somewhere with your wonderful friends, while I finally get your father to go back to his other self." She whispered, watching her gorgeous son feed her, having to move her mouth sometimes since it would get stuck.
"You'll go with me one day too Mama." He replied, only to see her weak smile, one he hated to no end.
"Not in the way you imagine it."
