Slow Pace

After the secret came out Josie refused to talk to anyone but her sister.

Hope didin't want to leave her but she had to because school had her parents wanted her to let Josie come to her if she wanted to talk. They didn't want to push the girl.

Josie was sitting in her cottage when Lizzie entered the door, she had some freshly baked beignets for her sister.

Josie was holding her guitar and was staring outsie her window. She missed Hope and she was scared to talk to her but she knew that she had to.

She wanted to have a normal life like a student should but she was scared.

"Hey Jo, I got you some beignets" Lizzie smiled at her.

The girl looked at her sister and was showing the red heads picture, Lizzie just smiled and nodded her head.

"Let's go, I drive."

The girl arrived to the school and Lizzie followed her to Hope's room But she was not there so the girls went to the canteen where the red head was sitting quietly while her friends was talking and laughing.

Jade was the one who noticed the sisters. She smiled when she saw Lizzie standing there with Josie.

"Hey Hope" Jade said and the red head looked up at her friend but turned around when she motioned that someone was behind her.

Hope saw her girlfriend standing there holding her sisters arm to feel safe.

"Josie" she ran up and halted standing in front of her.

The brunette let go of her sisters arm and threw herself on her girlfriend.

Hope happily held on to her and whispered sweet things to her. She kissed her girl and held her tight.

"I love you Josie, No one is ever gonna touch you ever again" the girl said and kissed her again.

Jade waved Lizzie over so the blond went to sit with them.

"Hey Lizzie" The shorter girl said and the blond turned to look at her.

"Im taking Josie to my room, Just come by when you want to leave"

The blond smiled politely and nodded before turning around and sat with the red heads friends.

It's been a half hour since her sister and Hope went to the girls room. Lizzie had been sitting with Jade and the others.

MG had been asking Lizzie questions until he hit a sensitive topic about her biological parents.

Both Jade and Penelope realized that the blond frozed and didn't want to answer his question.

"MG, SHUT IT" Jade raised her voice and he quicky stop talking. He looked at her and then at Lizzie who just froze.

"Hey Liz, are you okey?" Jade asked her.

Lizzie looked down on the table and was now quiet.

"Whatever it is you're not alone" and she took her hand and squeezed it.

"You know. Hope never told us what really happened with you and Josie" She started.

Lizzie looked at her with teary eyes.

"She just told us to be respectful and don't pressure you with questions. She told us that Josie was her mate"
The blond girl kept looking at her and then at the others.

"She told us that you were in danger and have to be protected, even here at school." She continued.

"Hope is our best friend and she has always been there for us when we needed someone and her family is the reason why we can live like normal people even if we are different. They are the reason we are in this school when our own family abandoned us"
She said gestering at the others.
