First Year at Hogwarts (Fred Weasley Love Story)

Our New Seeker,

After Lunch we went outside where twenty-six brooms layed on the ground. Each Gryffindor found a broom on the left side.

Each Slytherin found a broom on the right side.

My brother found his broom right in front of mine.. He looked up and gave me a snare then when the teacher came he gave me apologetic look.

I didn't know what was going on between our relationship. Was he mad at me or were we still friends.

But other than that on my mind was Fred.

Did he like me because what happened yesterday or was he just trying to be a good friend?

The teacher reached where the brooms were and the only thing she said that interested me was "Well what are you waiting for?-"

I guess I just like sassy teacher and what not.

When it was time to say up I stuck my right hand out and yelled "UP!" and it shot up in to my hand.

I gave a look at Draco who was looking at me apparently shocked how I got it up before he did. He looked back down at his broom and he yelled "UP!"

It shot up and surprisingly didn't knock him down!

He looked at me and smirked. I felt like going over there and punching him. He always thinks he's better than me when I clearly got my broom up before he did.

Why was my brother acting like this? He is usually protective over me. Not trying to 'impress' me.

Is he jealous of me? Because that's the only reason he tries to impress me with anything.

"Now once you have a hold of your broom I want you to mount it. Grip it tight, at my whistle, kick off the ground, keep your broom steady, Hover then come back down."

The whistle sounded and nobody kicked off except a boy named Neville.

He took off clearly not knowing what to do. and started flying like a maniac.

I guess nobody else except me and Draco knew how to fly very well.

He came flying straight at the class, he had no control what so ever. Everybody knows when flying your not supposed to freak out what so ever!

The teacher had her wand out and was about to do something until she jumped to her left to get out of the way.

I jumped to the right and hit the ground with a thud. Draco landed to my left with a worried face then smiled at me. At this moment I wasn't worried about Neville.

I wanted to go see Fred.

Neville went out of sight again. And when we seen him again his robe got hooked on to a sharp thing and his broom went flying else where.

It was holding him just fine until his robe started tearing and he fell again until something else caught his robe.

He was on the other thing just fine until he put his hands straight up in the air and fell right out of his robe and landed on his right hand.

The teacher came and told him he had a broken wrist and took him to the hospital wing.

I looked back behind me and seen Draco pick up something round. When I got a better look I noticed it was Neville's reminder thingy!

I was about to go and grab it from him and give it back to Neville before they were out of sight. But instead Harry went over to him. All I could think was 'oh shit let's see this go down'

When I look up I found Draco in the air saying "ON THE ROOF!" and I just knew someone would get caught. In this case I could just tell you it was going to be Harry.

Draco did this little turn thing I taught him and then the next thing I knew he threw it and Harry was chasing it. Such a small little round thing but he still caught it.

Which caused a problem because it was right in front of Professor McGonagall's window. While she was still in there.

        When I seen her look out at him I knew he was toast.

Later on Professor McGonagall walked out and said "Harry Potter! Follow me."

We didn't see him for the rest of the class. When we were dismissed Fred walked up to me and said "I heard Harry's the new seeker on Gryffindor."

I just gave him the 'yeah right' look and he said "No I'm not joking. Our keeper just told us. "Us?" "Yeah me and George our the beaters on the Quidditch team." all I thought of saying was 'is that supposed to impress me' but I decided to just nod my head.

With that he walked off with a simple "Bye Lucy. See you later."
