Chapter 10

Jacob's Mom: well is he ok?

Doctor: Jacob is just fine... but he needs to stay overnight.

Jacob's mom: Ohh! Thank God! I hope whoever did this burns in hell.

I gave her that "well damn" look. He is my best friend and what he did was wrong but I didnt say anything I just went back and sat by Cam.

Cam: what's up with Jacob?

I had to tell Cam everything that happened.

Cam: damn bruh. That's crazy.

Me: i know right

We waited for another thirty minutes.

Doctor: Heather Monroe?

Cam: babe, get up. He said shaking me out of my sleep.

I woke up and we walked up to the doctor.

Me: hey, you said Heather Monroe?

Doctor: yes, well Heather is fine. Good thing you guys brought her in time because she could've died in a matter of seconds.

Me: aww, my poor friend Heather... Well can we see her?

Doctor: yeah sure. Follow me.

We followed the doctor to Heather's room.

I saw her laying in the bed. Her face looks so pale...

Me: Heather?....

Heather opened her eyes.

Heather: Chauntel.... you look sad.

Me: thats because you tried to kill yourself.

Heather: i know I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you, but I really love Jacob.

Me: i know. Speaking of Jacob.. he's alive. He's staying in the hospital overnight so hopefully he'll be out tommorrow I guess.

Heather had a big smile on her face.

Heather: awww, Chauntel that's great... have you heard from "him"?

Me: no I haven't heard from him...

Heather: good. I can't believe he would do some shit like that. They did it over me too. I kinda feel special to be honest.

We giggled.

Me: hey, as long as you ok. That's all that matters.

Heather: thanks.. oh yeah and thanks Cam yo handsome self.

Cam blushed.

Cam: you welcome...

Me: ha! Hey, you wanna come to Atlanta with me to see the family?

Heather: Who me or Cam?

Me: you..

Heather: yesss. When?

Me: this weekend.

Cam: What about me?

I gave him a look.

Me: i don't think it'll be safe.

Cam: oh, I get it. I'mma go down there to see my fam anyways.

Me: mmhmm, better not come to the house.

Cam: don't worry, I won't.

A/N: sorry... school isn't giving me a chance to finish the story of course but it's like after school I go straight to sleep cause I be tireddd so I can't really finish the chapter like I want to.
