"My dad had the talk with me yesterday, I think my parents are going to divorce or something Zoe" she told her best friend at lunch the next day, her mind far from where her body leaned against the cafeteria walls
"What did he say, OMG, did he say you could finally have babies or was he telling you not to!!" She made a face trying to bring this lost girl back to school
"Hahaha not that you butt, I mean the 'i'm-dying-soon' kind of talk. And anyway my dad loves kids, bet he'd build me a mansion by next Tuesday if I pushed out one hell of a bastard tomorrow"
"Hey, I'm not friends with a whore don't call my niece or nephew bastards, watch your tongue lady"
A smile started to form on Jade's lips and both burst out laughing so loud the cafeteria developed a head and turned to watch them with a warning eye.
"You guys laugh like 1962"
They turned their heads only to spot Liam and Jordan watching them
"What do you want Jordan!" Jade said irritation clear in her voice
"Heeyyy, don't be like that, you can see Liam too, right! Right Zoe!" His tone was more serious than his face,
"Whatever buttface" unlike jade, Zoe found Jordan uncontrollably amusing
"Maybe because he isn't your twin" jade thought each time she saw amusement in her eyes about something her arse brother had said
"Liam wants to talk to you" he said not specifically to either of them and sat down next to his sister. "TalkTalk to... "
Before she could finish, Liam chirped in completing her statement for her,"Zoe..."
Pause
"Zoe, do you wanna hangout after school? Just have a few more questions if you don't mind,"
"Why?"
"Umm,,,I'm curious, you know,"
"No, I don't know Liam, I don't know why you keep asking me when you can just ask her ,,,ask,,,her," shock hit Jade's face like a sunny day wind, were they talking about her or were her best friend's fingers tracing her
"Maybe behind me"
She turned but there was nobody behind her but the wall, now she just felt stupid.
Liam grabbed his bag and walked away, embarrassment filling him so whole it started crawling onto his face.
"Anyone want to tell me what's going on!"jade asked confusion clear where a smile sat earlier
" why don't you find out for yourself" Zoe replied handing her a piece of paper but the bell went before she could open it.

She dialed the number putting it on her screen but never clicking the call button.
After about ten minutes of tossing and wondering what to do, falling on and off her bed, she called and someone picked up
"Hello," the voice said, Liqm's voice.
"Hey, its,,,"
For the second time that day he finished her statement for her
",,,Jade,,, Jade Bennett. Hi,"
All she could was stare at the bulb on her ceiling, he knew it was her, how! She wanted to know. There was so much about him that she wanted to know
She had not admitted to anyone but Liam was her favourite student, he participated, wrote sexy stories and called her Missy the most. He also drew and paid little attention in class. To her he seemed like that nerd everyone knew but never paid attention to, except in this case a hot not nerdy nerd.
"Missy,"he drove her out of her thoughts,"my dinner is getting cold are you going to say something yet or should I eat in your ears" she could hear the smirk on his face
"Why are you stalking me?" She asked relieved that she could finally say real words a smile on her face imagining the embarrassment on his face
"Missy, are you there!"
She hadn't said it out loud, it was her thoughts again
Dammit
"Liam dear dinner is getting cold" a lady said far on the other end of the phone
"Coming mum,"he replied a little away from the phone.
"Talk later Bennett, food is bae. Unless you're ready to say something"
Silence
"Enjoy your dinner Liam"
"Thought you'd never speak, thanks,"
And then the line was cut, she stared at her phone for a while feeling like a fool
"What the fuck Jade Bennett!! What the furge is wrong with you!!"
The question repeated itself in her head until she slowly started thinking of things she shouldn't have been, then dreamed about them.
