LOUISA: (comes in with Emily Ruth) Hi Mum, you ready?

RACHAEL: Yes honey. (to herself) "Today was a big day, I was meeting Brian face to face for the first time in years. I was thinking about writing a memoir of our life together before we divorced. I was anxious, I hadn't seen him since the girls got married almost 7 years ago, I would often ask about him to make sure he was alright, as he did with me, but we hadn't seen each other since." (they all leave)

BRIAN: (nods and lets her in)

4: INT. BRIAN'S HOUSE DAY

CUT TO:

Rachael talks to Brian.

BRIAN: (closes the door) Can I make you some tea?

RACHAEL: I'm okay, thank you... How've you been?

BRIAN: Oh, I've been alright. And you?

RACHAEL: Oh... I've been great. (to herself) "In reality I wasn't, I missed Brian with every beat of my heart. I never stopped loving him, even after all these years."

BRIAN: So, you had something you wanted to discuss?

RACHAEL: Yes, um... I wanna write a book Brian, about our marriage.

BRIAN: I see. How long have you been wanting to do this?

RACHAEL: I've been wanting to do this for awhile now.

BRIAN: I don't know Rachael, I don't want you airing our dirty laundry in a tell-all and talking trash about Anita.

RACHAEL: (nods and gets up) Airing our dirty laundry, huh? (pulls a manuscript out of her purse) Well you read this and tell me one bit of dirty laundry you find. (slams it down on the coffee table) I didn't say a damn word against you or Anita. Enjoy your tell-all. (leaves)

BRIAN: (sighs)

5: INT. CAR DAY

CUT TO:

RACHAEL: (gets in the car)

LOUISA: Well, how'd it go?

RACHAEL: (holding back tears) It was fine, I'd like to go home now.

EMILY RUTH: Did something happen?

RACHAEL: No, I'm just tired.

EMILY RUTH: Ok.

6: INT. RACHAEL'S HOUSE (BEDROOM) NIGHT

DISSOLVE TO:

Later that night...

RACHAEL: (comes in and closes the door) (to herself) "After the girls left, I retreated to my bedroom. All I wanted to do was crawl into bed and forget everything that happened. I walked over to my dresser and pulled out my 45 of Brian's song, "Too Much Love Will Kill You." The song that was Brian's "apology" and reasoning for the breakdown of our marriage. As painful as it was to listen to, it was the only way I could fall asleep. (puts it on and crawls into bed) (cries herself softly to sleep)
