The Perfect Two

One

After I was all done getting dressed I went downstairs to the kitchen to look for something to eat. I wasn't too hungry so I went with a light breakfast which consisted of some plain Greek yogurt with some blueberries, strawberries and raspberries, topped with granola. After I was finished with my breakfast I decided to go to Starbucks to get a drink. My roommates Lauren,Arden, and Andrea were still asleep so I thought I'd bring them back something too. I got in my car and drove to Starbucks, it was a beautiful morning the sun was just rising and it was really bright and warm outside. I found myself admiring every aspect of Los Angeles since it is my last day here after all. Tomorrow I will be moving to Austraulia all on my own. I mean I love it here in California but I feel like I just need a fresh start, a new beginning you know. Anyways I got to Starbucks and ordered four grande caramel frappucino's. When I got back home my roommates were just waking up it was kinda funny seeing them, they looked like zombies who had just risen from the dead. "Good Morning sleepyheads" I yelled. "How are you that energetic it's 8:00 in the morning" Andrea groaned. " I don't know, but hey I got you guys some caramel frappucino's!!"
"Now you're talking give me one of those" Lauren says excitedly. "Ooh I want" Arden squeals.
"Thanks Jenn" they all say as they sip their frappucino's. "So what's the plan for today?"
"We are throwing you a going away party!" Lauren yells "you guys don't have to do that" I plead
"Yes we do it's your last fucking day in California Jenn you need to go all out!!" Andrea says
"Fine so where is this party gonna be?" "The o2l house" Arden mumbles. "What?" I ask not hearing what she said. "The o2l house" she says this time loud enough so I can hear her. "Are you kidding me, I can't go there he's gonna be there!!" I say furiously. "Jenn you can't just ignore him for the rest of your life, you're gonna have to face him some time or another" Lauren says. "No I can't" I respond. "You guys broke up almost a year ago let It go" Andrea states. " No you guys don't understand every time I see his face I have the urge to punch a hole in the wall or better yet his face" I yell trying to hold back my raging anger. " Don't worry we'll be right beside you and we'll make sure he stays away from you" Arden says trying to calm me down. "And besides you can't let him hold you back from enjoying your last day in California" Andrea reasons. "You know what you guys are right it's my last day here and no one is going to ruin that not even him" I say confidently, even though I have this feeling in my gut that something is gonna go wrong tonight."So with that said let's go buy you a new outfit for tonight!!" Lauren says jumping up from the couch. "Ok!!" I respond. We headed to the grove to look for a cute outfit for me to wear tonight. After hours of searching I finally found the perfect outfit. I bought a black lace halter crop top and a teal skater skirt, with some black strappy wedges from TopShop. We got home at 3:30 so I decided to start getting ready.
