ᴍɪɴʜᴀ began crying. There was suddenly a roar from the thunder outside. The sounds of the rain pouring were very audible. Minha quickly covered her ears. She closed her eyes, letting the tears in her eyes fall.
Hyunjin was astonished. He's never seen her like that, ever. Out of all the years he's known her, it was surprising. They never talked much, so he never really knew how to comfort her.
Memories filled Minha's head. She shook her head. It was the same as that night. That horrible night-
- It was a dark night. Minha was sleeping. Suddenly, a roar of thunder striked. Minha woke up and rubbed her eyes. She stared out the window. It was raining. She stepped out, looking for her parents. She finally got a glance of what was happening.
A muffled cry escaped Minha's mouth. She covered her mouth as she looked at her parents from upstairs. "Don't you dare touch our daughter," her father yelled, tied to a chair along with his wife.
"I will leave her alone," the man chuckled and punched Minha's father, "only if I take your lives of course. If I happen to find her after I kill you two," the man stared at his knife, "I will kill her."
The man laughed loudly and moved his knife around. It was sharp and it seemed to have been cleaned often or it was quite new. Minha hid behind a wall, she couldn't have beared to hear it.
A scream came from both parents. Minha heard their last and final words. "If you hurt my daughter," her mother gulped down, "I will make you suffer in hell yourself!" Her mother had no more energy and soon enough, she passed. They passed, hand-in-hand.
The man left with a chuckle and Minha ran down. It was a puddle of deep red blood. They were both stabbed in the hearts. Minha shook her parents, not accepting what had happened. "APPA! EOMMA!" She screamed at their lifeless bodies, "WAKE UP YOU CAN'T PLAY AROUND ANYMORE!"
The only roar she heard after the thunder, was the roar of her cries.

Suddenly, an embrace comforted her. Minha stopped covering her ears. She opened her eyes and looked at Hyunjin. He was hugging her.
"You might not like hugs," he paused, "but you seem scared. You should atleast know I'm here for you alright?"

Minha brought her hand to her chest. It was beating. Her heart was beating. She inhaled and looked at Hyunjin. He wasn't as visible due to the darkness, but she felt his warmth. It was something she longed for in years—warmth.
She felt butterflies as she looked at Hyunjin. She could only see his back, but even that, made her heart flutter. Please stop being nice, she thought to herself, if you continue being nice, I might even fall for your stupid trap.
Hyunjin patted her back softly and hummed a song. He hummed until he realized she fell asleep. "Cute," he mumbled and slowly let go. "Now to leave.." he stared at the door. He didn't know how to break the door open. There was no signal in the gym so he was unable to call anybody up.
A sigh escaped his lips as he continued trying to find a way out.
