Chapter four

Chapter 4 Liam's POV

I really like Jessie. I really like Jessie. I really like Jessie. I really like Jessie. I really like Jessie. I really like Jessie. Just get up the nerve to ask her out. Like movies or dinner or something. Wait, I have no money. What am I thinking.

BBBBRRRRRIIIINNNNGGGG, BBBBRRRRIIIINNNNGGGG!!!!!!!!!!! My phone went off. I looked at called ID. Jessie. Come on Liam, ask her. You can do it. I can't believe I'm talking to myself. I answered.

"Hey, beautiful." I said into the phone.

"Hi Liam." She said. "I need you to come over. The science project is due tomorrow and we still need to water it one more time."

"Okay. I'll be over in a bit, but first, how many times did the teacher say we had to water the plants?"

"Mrs. Colins said we need to water it ten times."

"How many times did we water it?"

"Like, fifteen times. I watered it once a day fo fifteen days."

"Okay, just wondering. I'll be over in fifteen minutes."

"See you soon." I think she was smiling.

"Can't wait." and I hung up. I drove as fast as I could. I was a little jumpy on the way there. I walked right into her house and she yelled.

"Who's here?! I have a knife and a chair!" I laughed. She came out. "Why didn't you tell me you were here? I freaked out."

"Lock the door next time then." I smirked. She laughed. "Were you really going to throw a chair at me or stab me?"

"Only if you were a burglar or something like that."

"Okay, cause if you were going to stab me, I couldn't turn in our project." I smiled and she laughed again.

"Let's just get to work. The project is due tomorrow."

"Okay, fine." I walked into the kitchen.

"You sound down. What's up?" She asked me while getting the supplies out. I sat down at the table.

"Nothin'. What's up with you?"

"Nothing is wrong with me. You sound down."

"I'm fine. Let's just get this over with."

"You can go home if you want. I can do this."

"I'm staying." She poured the milk in one of them, orange juice in the other, and water in the last. I thought we needed some fun. I pretended to leave the kitchen to go to the bathroom, but I snuck back in and she was putting the plants in the other room. I grabbed the sink nosel, turned it to shower, and just as she walked in, I turned on the water and sprayed her. When I turned off the water, she just stood there and stared at me. I laughed. I was too busy laughing to notice she grabbed a cup of water that was on the counter, and dumped it on me. We heard it start to rain outside and both looked at each other, small smiles forming on our faces. we both ran to the door, me beating her and it was pooring. I stood in front of the house while she ran out in the yard. She looked so beautiful in the rain. I ran up to her and asked her,

"Will you go out with me?" She stood there for a minute before replying.

"Yes." She smiled her wonderful smile and I bent down and pecked her lips. I gave her a hug and he went inside to dry off and dry the kitchen. She snuggled up close to me on the couch and we watched a romance movie. She looked up at me.

"I love you." She smiled.

"I love you too." I told her before she laid her head on my chest and I kissed her cheek.
