i threw up

(2:11 PM, Domino's Pizza)

Brittany could barely keep her lunch down. Before the bowtie dude could even explain what had happened, she had run off, back to her workplace. No matter the explanation, she knew that she wasn't supposed to see that. A dead woman, being dragged through her blood. 

She pulls over to the side of the road and stumbles to a nearby trash can. She dry heaves into the bin, trying her best to catch her breath as she hyperventilates because of the previous situation. 

She gets back into her car and drives back to Domino's. The stop lights seem to be taking longer than usual, or she's just literally high off of the adrenaline. 

As she pulls into the Domino's parking lot, she feels her heart beating through her chest. What was she even going to say to everybody? 

"Hey guys! I totally just saw somebody murder a woman, and well now, that's all I can see. Her blood on the floor, being spread across the ground by her body! Haha!"

Yeah, no. 

She barges into the pizza place, and yells, "Mike, we're going home!" He looks up and drops his chopsticks in the marinara sauce on the pizza pan. 

"Brittany, our shifts are still going on right now. We can't just leave."

"Yeah, well, I feel sick as fuck and if we don't leave right now, I will throw up on every single pizza here. Don't you dare test me, Boy Chang, I have it in me."

Mike gulps and looks at the other employees apologetically, letting them know that he will be back later to make up for his absence. 

Brittany pulls Mike by the arm and brings him to her car, and they make their way back to the apartments.

"Brittany, okay wait- slow down. My chopsticks are still in there."

"I don't give two shits about your chopsticks, Chang. We are going home."

The whole car ride back, Brittany did not say a single word, as the events from earlier today were still running through her mind. She was barely at that house for five minutes, and all of a sudden, she feels as though her whole life has changed. 

(2:57 PM, Apartment building)

Brittany parks in the basement garage, and she and Mike run upstairs to their apartments. They are both panting and gasping for breath. Brittany frantically knocks on Finn's apartment, then fumbles through her keys to enter hers. Mike follows close behind with Finn, confused about what is going on. She enters the apartment and finds Rachel and Tina watching "The Flash," holding cups of coffee in their hands. 

Brittany marches toward them, and she grabs the mugs of coffee and smashes them onto the floor.

"Brittany, what the hell!" Tina shouts. 

Brittany starts pacing back and forth through the living room. "I-I have something to tell you guys. And it's like super deep shit, I seriously need to get it out. I feel so lightheaded and I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I totally ran away and-"

"Okay, Pierce, spit it out," Finn says. 

"Okay well, I guess I'll start the beginning."

Rachel nods at her with a smile to continue.

"Well, I was working my shift, and I got a call for a delivery. She never really finished her order, I guess, but we already had her number and address saved since she's called there before. So, I made my way over there, and when I came up to the front door..."
