Ep 6

3rd person POV

Jin looked down at the floor. "I take it as a 'no'," said Sehun, standing up and going towards Jin, "Why are you lying to my sis." His voice and face hardened visibly. Although he looked calm, his eyes showed his anger. "I don't mean to lie to her," said Jin in a small voice, still looking at the floor. "Look at me!" Sehun said sharply and Jin looked up immediately. "Jin is just-" Namjoon began but Sehun stopped him immediately, by saying, "Let him speak for himself."

Jin did not know where his courage had come from. It even surprised him when he said confidently, "I love Y/N." Sehun stared at him, his expression softening a little. "Do you mean it?" he asked. "Yes. I truly love her and I treasure her more than anything else," Jin replied. "Then why are you lying to her?" Sehun said.

Jin sighed. "I don't think I could tell her the truth. She did not even know that I existed. Namjoon suggested that I should become her robot and get used to being around her so that I can tell her the truth one day," replied Jin. "Well, here's the deal!" Sehun said, sitting down again.

Jin's POV

I didn't know what Sehun was going to say but I do not expect it to be anything good. "I will help you," said Sehun in a relaxed way, with a smile. I stared at him, not believing my ears. Namjoon whooped, "YAY!" "But," began Sehun, "Promise me that you will tell her the truth when you get comfortable enough."

"I promise you!" I exclaimed. Even I hated to lie to her. Sehun smiled at me and said, "The mission is on then." "Mission?" I said confused. Sehun stood up and came up to me. He placed his hands on my shoulders and said, "I will help you win my sister's heart." "How?" Namjoon asked. Sehun smirked.

3rd person POV

"Well... the first step is to make you more confident about yourself and overcome your shyness. I feel that you are too shy," said Sehun. "He is," said Namjoon immediately. "What can I even do about it?" said Jin. "Think!" Sehun said, "What is the thing that you like about yourself?" "Well... I do like the way I look," said Jin. Sehun chuckled. "Yah! He does look handsome!" Namjoon said, defending his brother.

"Chill!" Sehun said, "I know he is handsome. I was chuckling at the way he said it." Jin pouted. "Now! Speak after me," said Sehun, "I am the worldwide handsome!" "I am the worldwide handsome," Jin echoed after him. "Good," said Sehun, "Think of yourself, dude. You are goodlooking and you have got a good heart!" "He can sing very nicely too," Namjoon added.

"Can you really?" Sehun asked. Jin nodded shyly. "Sing for me then," said Sehun. "Go on. Sing 'Epiphany'," said Namjoon. "Epiphany?" Sehun asked. "Jin had written a song one day when he was heartbroken," said Namjoon. After a bit of pressing, Jin sang in his sweet voice. Sehun was impressed. "You have got an amazing voice," he complimented.

"Well... that's it... that's the only thing I can do well," said Jin. "Dude, you are kidding me. You can cook very well too. And remember the time you had played basketball. You were amazing. You were always good in studies too," said Namjoon. "See you are underestimating yourself too much," said Sehun, "Just keep thinking about the things you are good at. That's the first step."

There was silence. Sehun yawned slightly. "You must be tired," said Jin, "You should sleep." "Well... yeah. But I will just name this mission first," said Sehun. Namjoon and Jin looked at him. "Mission 'Turn the Cute puppy into a Cool Wolf' is on," said Sehun. Jin and Namjoon placed their hands on Sehun's hands and repeated his words. "We'll wake up early tomorrow and work on it," said Sehun, importantly.

Kim house was completely silent. All three boys were fast asleep in their rooms. The doorbell rung. The boys slept on. It rung again. This time, they woke up and came downstairs, rubbing their eyes and yawning. "Who the hell is it?" Namjoon groaned, going towards the door. He looked outside through the peephole and saw Y/N standing there with a tray.

"It's Y/N!" Namjoon whispered going to the other two. "Oh no... we woke up too late," said Jin. "Don't worry," whispered Sehun, "Just be confident about yourself. Go and open the door. We'll see how it goes." So, Sehun and Namjoon hid behind a wall and watched Jin.

Y/N's POV

I have been standing out here for some time now. Aren't they up yet? I have brought bubble tea for them. Sehun loves bubble tea. So I made it for him. I sighed and was about to ring the bell again when the door was opened by a rather tense-looking Jin. He stood aside so that I can come in. I went in and put my tray on the table. "Aren't the other two up yet?" I asked.

Jin's POV

I looked at where Sehun-hyung and Namjoon were hidden. Sehun shook his head vigorously. "Uhm... no... they are still sleeping," I replied. Sehun-hyung gave me a thumbs-up. "Well I brought bubble tea for Sehun-oppa..." Y/N said. I did not know what to say. "Say something!" Sehun-hyung mouthed. "D-did you sleep well?" I asked foolishly. I saw Sehun-hyung sigh. Y/N nodded.

I feel so stupid now. Jin! Think! I did not realise that I was staring at where Namjoon and Sehun-hyung were hiding. I realised it when Y/N looked that way. Sehun-hyung and Namjoon tried to hide quickly but the both of them bumped into each other and fell out. Aish! Curse Namjoon and his clumsiness!

Y/N's POV

I noticed that Jin was staring at something behind me. I turned around as oppa and Joonie fell out from the wall. "OPPA! JOONIE!" I exclaimed in surprise, "What were you doing?" I asked the question as I rushed to help the two of them up. "Ahh!" Joonie groaned rubbing his back, "I am so sorry, Sehun-hyung." Oppa rubbed his neck. "What WERE you doing there?" I asked again. "Uhm... w-we..." Oppa muttered.

I stared at them. "We were just watching the testing," said Joonie a little too quickly. "Yeah. Yeah," said Oppa. I frowned. "We had... added new features to Jin," said Oppa, "We were just trying to see if it worked!"

Jin's POV

That was a good cover up. Namjoon glared at me before saying, "Clearly it did not work!" "Relax," said Y/N, "First take the bubble tea I brought for you guys."

3rd person POV

"Why bubble tea?" asked Namjoon, "You usually bring coffee." "Oppa loves bubble tea. That's why I made it," Y/N replied. "Yehet! That's my lil sis now!" Sehun exclaimed. They all took the bubble tea. "Well oppa, what should we do today?" Y/N asked. "Aren't you going to the university?" Sehun asked. Y/N pouted. "Alright, I will go then," she said. "Good girl!" Sehun said, smiling.

"Bye, oppa!" Y/N said, going out of the house. "Bye, princess!" Sehun said. Namjoon immediately shut the door after Y/N. "Aish. That was such a close cut!" Sehun said. "I am so sorry," said Namjoon. "Let it be now!" said Sehun, "We have to work on Jin's talking skills!"

"I just couldn't think of anything when I see Y/N," Jin mumbled, looking at the floor. "Aish. Why are you like this," said Namjoon, "Sehun-hyung, what can we do now if he can't speak?" Sehun smirked and said, "Why fear when Oh Sehun is here!"
