Jin's POV

"Y/N," I began, "I am not actually a..." Then I realised that she was not looking at me anymore. Her eyes had widened and they looked kinda watery. She was staring at something behind me. I looked back to see what it was and saw a kissing couple on the beach. Why is she crying then? "Bastard!" she muttered under her breath.

Now I get it. That guy must be Jungkook! Now I am feeling really frustrated. This guy literally spoils everything! Now I don't have the heart to tell Y/N that I am a human, a human who loves her very much!

Y/N's POV

I was focused on Jin. He was about to say something when I noticed a guy and a girl on the beach. Jungkook! I can identify him just by his shadow. He was making out with a girl, that bitch who had tried to bully me. I was staring at them before I knew. "Bastard!" I muttered in annoyance. Why does this guy have to pop up everywhere I go?

They pulled away from each other. Their voices could be heard very clearly through the breeze. "Babe, you love me right?" the girl said. "Why do you ask?" his deep voice came. "A bitch at the school told me that you flirted with another girl," said the girl. Jungkook was quiet. I frowned as he said, "So what if I did flirt with another girl?" That was enough. I got up and took Jin's hand.

Jin's POV

I was sickened when I heard Jungkook's words. I was about to get up when I felt Y/N take my hand. She pulled me along inside the restaurant. I stopped her to pay for our meal. She walked off towards our car and I sighed.

Y/N's POV

I cannot stand it anymore. How can Jungkook be like this? I felt tears streak down my cheeks. "Are you okay?" Jin asked, coming out of the restaurant towards me. I nodded. He gently wiped my tears away. "Don't cry. He is not worth it," he whispered softly. I felt my heartbeat quicken at his touch. "I am sorry," I whispered, "I did not mean to ruin this date." "It's okay," he said, smiling his angelic smile.

He bent down and kissed my forehead. His lips were so soft and warm. "Come on now, let's go home," he said pulling back. I nodded. He opened the door for me and I got in. He got in the driver's seat too and started the engine. I stared at my lap, feeling all confused and unhappy. I felt Jin take my hand. I looked up, my cheeks getting warm again.

His eyes were fixed on the road, but he still held my hand. As I gazed at him, I appreciated how perfect he was. His face, his nature, his body, everything is just so perfect! If only he was real!

~Time skip~

Jin dropped me at my home. He was staying at Namjoon's place of course. I don't mind since he has a room at Joonie's place. Sehun-oppa is staying there too. I have no wish to be teased and I feel rather tired too. So, I just took a shower, got dressed for bed and lay on my bed.

Damn! I am going to be late! I quickly got ready and ran off to the university. I still remember what Leah told me about Jungkook. Ji-eun... I still think that this name is familiar to me. Where have I heard it before? Ugh! I just can't remember.

The lectures went smoothly. I noticed that the bully looked kinda angry. I guess she and Jungkook had a fight. I sighed. It was soon lunch time. Leah was nowhere to be seen. Damn! I wanted to find out about Ji-eun.

I was pretty annoyed when I went and sat down at our regular place at the cafeteria. The others were already here. Jimin and Baekhyun were there too, along with Jinyoung and Jaemin. "Why that frown on your pretty face, Y/N," said Jimin. "Nothing," I said, "Did you guys see Leah today?" All of them shook their heads. "Maybe she did not come today?" Lisa suggested. I shrugged.

"Damn! I just can't put my finger on where I know Ji-eun," I said. "Hey, just drop that thing already!" Jennie said. I sighed. We had our lunch. We had just finished when the girl came up to our table, her eyes on Baekhyun. I don't have a crush on Baek or anything but I don't like this girl. Her intentions do not look good at all.

Baek tried to duck under the table before she arrived but was unsuccessful. "Hey Baek," she said, giving him a flirty look. "Hey, Taeyeon," said Baekhyun weakly. So, this girl's name is Taeyeon! Baekhyun was silently begging for help looking at all of us. I sighed. I have to help him out of this situation! "Baby, you said you would come with me," I said, pouting while I looked at him.

Baekhyun's POV

I heard Y/N's words. Taeyeon was staring at her angrily. Then she looked at me. Y/N winked. Oh good! I can escape. "Yes honey, let's go," I said happily. Y/N walked to me, took my hand and started walking away from the cafeteria. I followed gladly of course.

Y/N's POV

I took Baekhyun to the rooftop. I could almost feel Taeyeon glaring at my back. I somehow feel happy that she is angry! I released Baekhyun's hand when we reached the rooftop. "Thank you for helping me out of there!" Baekhyun sighed, "I don't know why but Taeyeon had gained sudden interest in me." "I know the reason all right," I said. Baekhyun frowned. I told him how I had seen her and Jungkook yesterday.

He whistled. "So she's trying to get Jungkook's attention by flirting with me!" he said, "I am afraid I am not going to fall for her!" I chuckled. "I don't mind what you do, Bacon," I said. He smiled. "I owe you one though," he said. I shrugged. "Bro, just make sure you are happy," I said.

~Time skip~

The lectures were over. I am going home now. I was thinking about Ji-eun again. Where have I heard this name? I wracked my brains but couldn't remember. My phone began to ring. I looked at the name flashing on the screen. IU? How did IU-unnie suddenly call me. I picked up the call and held the phone to my ear.

"Y/N-ie! How are you!" IU-unnie's voice came. "Hi unnie! How come you remembered me today?" I said. "Oh! I don't know! I just kept on thinking of you so I called you!" she said. We chatted for a long time as I walked home. "Okay bye Y/N! I have to go now," said unnie. "Bye unnie," I said.

I hummed as I put my bag on the sofa and went towards Joonie's house to meet oppa. Wait! What was IU-unnie's real name again? I can't remember it! Damn! I am getting really forgetful. I bumped into Sehun-oppa as I was thinking hard. "Watch where you are going, sis," he said. "Oppa! What was IU-unnie's real name?" I asked. "IU?" Sehun said, "You mean the girl who was our neighbour?" "Yes," I said. "Her name was 'Ji-eun' I think," said Sehun-oppa.
