Chapter Thirty - Eight - Rescued

   With a black cloak that concealed his identity , Amaru entered the dark cave where Iya's tracks lead him.

    On the other hand, the sweet scent that Iya exhaled consumed her brain. She collapsed on the cold ground and passed out. Akala niya dahil yun sa gutom at pagod . Unknown to her, she became a new victim of blue fog  she never heard of.

  Nang imulat ni Iya ang mga mata, nakita niya si Sage Skye. Nababalutan ito ng puting liwanag.

"Master!"

   But when she tried to reach for him, he's gone.

   Nakita niya rin si Xylyx na nagdala ng pagkain.

" Ah! Pagkain!!!"

   But the same thing happened. It would suddenly dissappear. Pero sa kabila ng lahat, hindi pa rin nawawala ang ngiti sa mga labi ni Iya. Kung anu- ano na lang ang nakikita niya. But everything she saw made her extremely happy. She can't help herself. She even  heard her laughter's echo and feel happy because of it.

    Umiinit bigla ang katawan niya. Nag-aapoy sa init ang pakiramdam niya habang tawa siya ng tawa. She tore off  her  clothes while laughing crazily still, leaving her naked.

    Nakakita siya ng malinis na ilog kaya dali-dali siyang tumalon para maligo. But everything is not real. They'rejust hallucinations yet it felt so real to her.

    Tuwang-tuwa sya sa pag-aakalang naliligo siya sa malinis at malamig na ilog. Maya-maya'y nakita niya si Amaru.

"Iya, I love you," wika nito habang isinusuot sa ring finger niya ang napakagandang singsing.

  Her condition worsen. Ngayon ay naririnig na niya itong nagsasalita.  Part of her mind knows something is wrong. But part of her can't stop from laughing, she can't stop believing the fantasies before her.

"Iya, stop it. You have to fight it, whatever it is," wika niya sa sarili. She tried her very best not to laugh but as a consequence, she can't stop her body from shaking. Not because of the coldness but because of blue fog's effect.

    She only heard the water dripping from above. Binilang niya ang bawat pagpatak nito para maiwaksi sa isipan ang nangyayari sa kanya.

   She felt it. With eyes closed, she felt warm fingers touching her face , down to her chin, to her neck, caressing her every skin.

"I'm not looking. Pikit ka lang Iya! Kumalma ka. 510 , 511, 512, 513, 514 515 516," aniya sa sarili at patuloy na nagbibilang sa bawat pagpatak ng tubig. 
 
    For a fleeting moment, it's gone. Napagtagumpayan niya ito muli. She have no idea what's happening but she understand one thing. She's losing her sanity. She can hardly control herself and her intuition whispered, warned her that she's halfway to death.

  Pero ilang sandali lang ang lumipas at nararamdaman na naman niya na may mainit na bisig ang yumakap sa kanya. Pero hindi pa rin niya dinidilat ang mga mata. Sa oras na makita niya ang gustong-gusto niyang makita, mababaliw na naman siya.

    She felt someone's gaze staring at her up close. Nararamdaman niya ang mainit na hininga nito at naririnig ang pagtibok ng puso nito.

     Temptation got over, she opened her eyes.

"A-amaru?" she knew it was only an illusion her playful mind create, yet, her lips curved into a smile.

  Ilang sandali ang lumipas,  tumawa na naman siya. This time, much louder, much crazier.

  Sa muli, naglaho na naman ito.

   Amaru calm himself as he was mesmerized and charmed by her nakedness.  She is an art. A beautiful art an artist can only paint. She's too beautiful of an art that a man like him can't touch. Before his desire consumes his consciousness and control, he took off his cloak , covered her and decided to walk away .

"I guess I'm turnimg into a real man," wika niya sa sarili sabay iling.

    Nang imulat ni Iya ang mga mata niya, nakakita siya ng liwanag. There are vials and syringes scattered on the ground. Naalala niya ang ginawa niya at kinapa-kapa niya ang sarili. 

  Nakasuot siya ng black cloak. Is there anyone in the cave? Did someone come to take her out of the dark place?

" Buti naman naisipan mo ring gumising," wika ni Amaru na ikinagulat niya.

"Aaaah! anong ginagawa mo dito?!"

   Her inside was feeling the total contrast. She felt calmer, safer, the moment she heard his voice.

"Mukha ba akong namamasyal? Of course. I came here for you," masungit nitong wika.

   Biglang nag-init ang mukha ni Iya.

"Ibig sabihin...... Nakita mo ang__," nauutal niyang wika.

"Oo nakita kitang nakahubad,"

    Lalong uminit ang mukha niya at kusang gumalaw ang mga kamay.

   Sinampal niya si Amaru.

"Pinagsamantalahan mo ako no?!" galit na wika niya rito.

"What the f*ck! It's kind of dissappointing pero hindi ako papatol sa mga inahing baboy."

"Anong inahing baboy ang pinagsasabi mo? ha?"

" I'm not oblige to explain," wika ni Amaru at tumayo.

   Kinuha niya ang penlight niya. It was a pen he received as an award 8 years ago from a scientist when he won the title " Team Captain of 2012." His slender pen produces a light that can illuminate the whole cave. 

" Lahat ng nakita mo, it's what they call sexy and gorgeous... tsssk. Wala ka talagang alam sa mga babae," nakasimangot niyang wika at inayos ang cloak.

" Too bad. I'm not one of them."

" Iniinsulto mo ako?"

Amaru turned towards her and check her temperature. Hinapo lang nito ang noo niya 

" Sandali lang. I need to do this__."

" Ouch!"

Napa-aray siya nang tinurukan siya ni Amaru ng vitamins sa likod.

" Ano yun?" tanong niya rito.

" Something you would never understand."

Napailing na lang si Arid.

" I have the right to know my condition," she said.

" Right. You've been drugged by this cave. I tried to make an antidote. Kaso kailangan na kitang maturukan bago ko pa ma perfect yun. So now I'm trying to balance the antidote inside your system."

Matagal bago nakapagsalita si Arid.

" Thank you," aniya sa wakas.

" You're not my responsibility anymore. But you're my friend. Hindi ako pipikit kapag kailangan mo ako," anito. "Anything for you, Arid."

" Eeeh. Pahinga muna tayo. Feeling ko may nabali sa mga buto ko."

" Na check ko na ang katawan mo kanina. Mukha namang ok. But we can't guarantee that dahil kulang tayo sa gamit."

" Oo nga."

"  Dahan-dahan lang tayo. Sumunod ka saken. We need to get out of here asap."

"Teka. Ilang araw na ba akong nandito?"

" Araw? Are you kidding me Arid?"

   Her heartbeat throb wildly.

" W-what do you mean?" tanong niya sa lalaking nauna sa paglalakad.

   He turned his head towards her.

"You've been here for a year!"
