Chapter 4

Liam's POV

"Zayn," I started as I walked closer to him. I heard Niall get up behind me.

"Where did you get that?" I asked in shock. Zayn handed me the necklace; his hands shaking.

"It was inside Harry's hand.. I .." Zayn stammered as I ran the tiny flat circle between my fingers; wiping off the blood.

"It's a necklace?" Niall asked as he walked up beside me. I nodded and studied the now clean surface. It was completely blank. I looked up at Niall; who raised his eye brows at me.

"What's on it?" Niall asked and I shrugged, handing the necklace to him. Niall held the necklace up and bit his lip.

"Just a blank flat circle.." Niall reported as he handed it back to me. I rubbed the blood of the chain with my sleeve and looked up at Zayn.

"You found this in Harry's hand?" I asked in disbelief. Zayn gulped.

"The chain was wrapped around his fingers and the circle was inside his hand. I have no idea what it is or why it's covered in blood.." Zayn explained. I ran my fingers along the beat up chain. This necklace was defiantly in the car crash. I slowly flipped the necklace over and began to rub the blood off the back of it. Zayn nodded and turned into the hallway.

"Well, should we give it back to Harry?" Niall suggested as I stared down at the tiny circle.

"Nah, we'll give it to him when he's awake." Zayn answered from Harry's room.

"What do you think Li?" Niall asked as he watched me.

"Shh.." I whispered and Niall leaned in closer.

"What is it?" Niall asked. My eyes widened as my fingers glided over the smooth surface. The back wasn't blank like the front, there was tiny engraved letters!

"Zayn!" I shouted, and Niall jumped.

"What?" Zayn muttered as he walked back across the hallway and towards Louis' room.

"There's letters on the back!" I announced and Zayn darted forward.

"What!?" He cried as reached for the necklace. I jerked away and Niall ran up to us.

"Where?" Niall blurted out. I raised the necklace to the light; my eyes straining to read the tiny letters.

"Uh..L..T.. plus.. H..S.." I started and Niall began to tap my arm.

"Oh!" Niall yelled, smiling in content.

"It's Louis Tomlinson plus Harry Styles!" Niall explained, and Zayn's jaw dropped.

"I don't remember Harry having this necklace.." He stammered in shock.

"It must be new," Niall guessed and I shook my head.
