Khushi is getting ready for the naming occasion of their son or Naamkaran. Sitting in front of the mirror, she is putting on her earnings. Rishab comes out from the bathroom wearing just a towel and holding his clothes in his hand. He without looking at Khushi says," Yaar, mujhse yeh sab Indian kapde pehne nahi hota hai..Baby where are you? Help me na.." Khushi looks at him from the reflection on the mirror and starts to laugh. Rishab now looks at her and says," Haye koi zeher ka tika dedo mujhe, walking behind such a beautiful lady, I will look like her assistant. Nahi. Mujhe nahi jana neeche.. mujhe yahin rahna hai in my grey shorts.." and he turns his face to his side acting that he can't go. Khushi turns to see and just as Rishab looks at her, she says," Tumhari bakwas kuch jada nahi ho rahi hai."

Rishab goes near her and says," Araz kiya hai..
Itni khoosurat tum lag rahi ho,
Ki dil kahe tumhe bahon mein leelun.

And he starts to laugh and Khushi says," Mr.shayer. Subha subha shayari..why?" Rishab looks at her and starts singing," Darde dil..darde jigar dil mein jagaya aapne..Pehle toh mein ashiq tha, shayar banaya aapne.." Khushi slams her head with her palm and says," Why are you still in your towel? Stop your non sense. It is getting late." Rishab smiles and says,"Yaar you know I am not comfortable in these clothes. Can I wear shirt and trousers please?" Khushi gets up and holds the ear of Rishab saying," And you know what is the occasion today. Tumhari problem kya hai? Kabhi toh sunlo meri baat." Rishab says," Ahh..baby mein aur kiski sunta hun? The problem is the nada of the Pyajama .. put the string in the pyajama..please..I will wear then." Khushi takes the Pyajama and sits down on the bed to put the string into it. Rishab goes in front of the mirror and poses. He says," Waise I am still handsome. What do you say?" Khushi looks at him and starts giggling. She says,"That you are..my hot kullu..Par abhi Bas karo, Towel khul jayega.. remember the last time.."

Khushi's father had arrived in few days and soon they started planning about the marriage. Maheshji was happy for Rishab who had shifted to Khurana house. It was decided that first engagement will be done the coming week and marriage would commence in the coming month. Khushi started shopping with Arti while Rishab got busy in the launch of three big books. At nights, thanks to Raju kaka, Rishab no longer had to climb down pipe to go into Khushi's room. But now he had to be extra careful as Khushi's father, Maheshji stayed in the room next to his. Things were going on smoothly until Khushi's brother Karan arrived.

Lieutenant Karan Chopra arrived a day before the engagement ceremony. Khushi had gone to pick him up and he came to the Khurana house with her. Rishab met Karan that evening at his house after he returned from the office. Karan was tall, handsome and had a huge body. He was five years older than his sister Khushi. But inspite of the fact that, Rishab was older to Karan and he too was good in height and body, he looked younger to his new to be brother-in-law and was treated in the same way.

As soon as he entered the living space where every one was sitting, Khushi got up and holding Rishab's arm brought him in front of her brother for an introduction. Rishab smiled and extended his hand to shake. And that proved to be a big mistake as he felt his bones of his hand being crushed under the strong grip of the soldier. He was unable to show what he felt after his hand was spared by Karan. Rishab preferred to stay away from his hug by just smiling at him. Karan was actually a friendly guy. He cracked jokes, interacted with everyone and made every one enjoy his company all through the evening. Rishab however was uncomfortable sitting between his to be father-in-law and brother-in-law till the dinner got over and all retired to their room. Rishab after staying few minutes in his room opened the door to go downstairs and to his horror found Karan standing near the door.
