Chapter 14💕

Rishab didn't talk to Khushi for the next day too. He left for work early and returned late at night, only to fall asleep turning his face the other way. He didn't even give her a chance to talk. They were supposed to leave for Maldives the next afternoon, so Khushi did all the packing.

Sachin and Arti came to drop them off at the airport. Sachin finding them both quiet said,"Baat kya hai? Rishi chup samjha aata hai but humari bakbak queen bhi chup. Something is wrong. Bata kya hua hai?"
Rishab looked at him and said,"Nothing. Waise bhi chup hai isilye shanti hai barna toh.." "Dekha Arti di, he hates me. He hates everything about me. Pata nahi shaadi kyun ki.", Khushi starts to tear up.

"Exactly, shaadi kyun ki? You never wanted to marry me. You just want to be with your extended family.", Rishab said looking outside. "Rishi bas karo abb. See your anger now is going too far. You both are going on Honeymoon. Aise thodi na koi jata hai? ", Arti said as she pulled Khushi into her arms.
Rishab looked at her from the rear view mirror but stayed silent.

Before entering the airport for check-in, Sachin whispered,"See Rishi, I get it, you are annoyed. But don't waste this time. These will be memories tomorrow. Make them worthy to remember. Meri baat mann and gussa chod. Sort the problem and enjoy your honeymoon. Wapas aakar toh phir se kaam ka tension lena hi hai."

They sat in the air plane and Khushi looked outside. Rishab put his hand over her and she turned towards him. "I am sorry.", he whispered. Khushi had tears in her eyes and she didn't say anything. He continued,"You know me. I get angry when things don't happen according to my plans. I had planned so much but it got wasted. But what made me angry is.. I was.. away from you.. I couldn't even hear your voice."

Khushi could see he is really sad. She put her palm on his cheek and said,"Bebu, you must understand it is also not easy for me to stay away from you. I get your frustrations but you should understand I had some expectations too. It also failed miserably. Sometimes situation makes things difficult and we are helpless then." Rishab nodded his head, "Tumne mujhe maaf kiya?"

"No. Not so easily. Itna rulaya hai, abhi kuch acha karo mujhe khush karne ke liye.", Khushi giggled. Rishab whispered, "I am  dying to do a lot to make you happy.." Khushi put her hand on her mouth,"Hau, chi gande bache.. I meant something nice, surprising, gifts or something. Tum na.." "Arey, that's not ganda. That's the ultimate gift. C'mon we are married now.", Rishab said and Khushi hit her.

Rishab and Khushi arrived at the Hotel at Maldives by evening. The room was very beautiful with a small kitchnet and personal chef. A huge bedroom with an luxurious and gaigantic bed. The room was decorated with beautiful artefacts and wild flowers.  There was an equally big and stylish bathroom with a white spa bath tub. The room opened to personal beach over a ramp. There was a small swimming pool too.

Khushi kept screaming with excitement after seeing everything. Rishab pulled her close and took her lips into his for a passionate kiss. Soon they changed and went to the ocean to witness the sun set. Rishab whispered into her ears,"I love you baby..Go and freshen up, I have a surprise planned."

Khushi got out of the bathroom to find a beautiful white dress on the bed. A note near it read, 'A small gift for my gorgeous wife. Wear it and come outside.'

Khushi came out wearing that knee length dress, matching shoes and a diamond earning. She went outside to find a table with roses and candles. There were fairy lights illuminating the place. Rishab put his arms around her from behind and kissed her neck.

"Do you like it?", he asked. Khushi putting her palm on his cheek replied, "I love it." She pulled him to the front to get into his arms. He looked handsome in a simple light yellow shirt and white trousers. He broke the hug and took her to the table, holding her wrist. Like a gentleman that he is, he pulled the chair and made her sit before he sat. Waiters came and served dishes with a light wine.
