Chapter two

Look at that picture up, imagine eating a wedding cake at a wedding like that LOL.

"That girl they call Daniela pisses me off like I should just strangle her." Hannah said disgustedly.

Victoria remembered the incident, as Hannah said strangle, she had in the morning with that man but quickly waved it off, it was better that way. The day was soon over and Victoria walked back home, she passed the area where that man died; she saw a group of people there with an ambulance, there were some cops there too. She walked fast breathing heavily; she walked past it quickly and flashes of what happened then. She quickly went home. Her father wasn't around and he left his computer. She didn't hesitate to switch it on, she needed to find out the big deal about this Preston town and why Caleb was so bent on researching on it, he was always researching on it. She switched on the computer but there was only one thing blocking her way.

"Password, I think it's Amanda yes."
She inputted it and it was correct.

"I wonder why Caleb would use such an odd name for his password?" she asked herself.

She began to search for what her father was working on. She noticed her father had been working on if for almost 15 years she decided to send it to her own computer and kept it there. She duplicated the file and sent it to her own computer. 15 minutes later Caleb came in after coming from the grocery store. Victoria decided to keep what she did today to herself till further notice.

"How was school?"

She didn't answer. She was sitting on the sofa with her eyes focused on the TV. Caleb dropped his groceries on the dining table and sat beside Victoria.

"I am sorry about this morning, the reason why I was researching on this was because I got a job to research on the town and it's a secret."

Victoria knew he was lying but decided to go with the flow.

"I was just being silly and childish; I know that everything you're doing is for my benefit."

"Thank you my darling, I know you would understand. Tonight I'm making soup."

"What kind?"

"It's the surprise that really makes eating the soup interesting."

"I knew you would go for the soup surprise special a.k.a Triple S Tuesday."

"I need to start cooking."

"I'm going to my room; need to chat with my girls."

She went to her room and began chatting. She didn't want to tell Caleb about what happened, not now, not yet. How would she even tell him?
Should I just walk towards him and say oh Caleb I killed someone but its not that a big deal.

A week later it was graduation day. They began to give out prizes. Victoria and Daniela were competing in their studies, beauty, popularity and they were surprisingly in the same department which made it more of a competition. At the end of the day Victoria came out with 8 prizes with a bonus prize of $100, 000 as she was the most outstanding student in their set while Daniela got 5 prizes. The most surprising thing was when Daniela came to meet Victoria, Hannah and Barbara who were sitting on a bench.
