Chapter 7- The first circle

"So, what did you wanna chat about?" I ask Zamire quickly to hide my shock
"Well I know we really don't know each other extremely well, I have come to care for you greatly" he continues even though I can tell he is worried." I was wondering if you would like to go out as boyfriend and girlfriend? Also I noticed all your gifts your mom gave you, they are pagan gifts, and well,
all of us get together during certain times of the month, we do things that might seem odd to new comers but I would love for you to come." He finishes lamely, "Okay first, what" I try not to laugh, "second, what is it you do? I refuse to say ya till I know all the details, I don't want to be agreeing to my death!" I bust out laughing.
"Well, no one will be sacrificed I promise, it's called a circle gathering, we are all apart of a group called Hidden Moon, my mom is the high priestess, it's just a few friends gathered to raise energy... Are you okay?" Obviously my fish out of water look clued him in, "Are you telling me you are pagan two?" I am so shocked it's hard to form words.

"Well sort of, we can't do anything like in the movies but we do have fun and there is always really good food and activities." As if that makes it okay.
"Let me think about it okay." "Okay just call me the circle is tomorrow night at 8"

I watch as he walks away and I can't help but wonder how all this is possible, first a house bites me then I say some words on a paper and I become super witch, then my mom tells me I am a blood witch(long line of witches), now my boyfriend is apart of a basic pagan group. Has the world gone crazy or am I just prone to having looney stuff happen. Last week I thought my geometry homework was hard, pft I will take it over this any day...well almost any day.

S: hola
What's up?
A: I wanted to apologies earlier for what happened
S: what, the causing me to become your Great Aunt incarnate, or the whole sending me telepathic messages?
A: nope I was apologizing for hitting your mom's car :X
S: WHAT....
A: I'm kidding lol :D
S: you will get your butt kicked for that one
A: promise!!
S: "Internal eye roll"
A: anyways yes to the above stated apology reasons, I just sensed you had something within you, I had no clue it would work, I promise. As for the telepathic message that was another I didn't think it would work thing. Only my aunt Theresa and I can do that.
S: Theresa, that's a pretty name, by the way you never told me your great aunts name...
A: you don't know it? Just try
S: I ...*gasp*
A: yes that's her name
S: Seraphina? Omg how do I know that, and wow how eerie it is that it even sounds like my name. :/
A: it's called past life memory and duh
S: I have to go...tty later
A: wait...
S: bye

The next day I woke up and instead of bounding down stairs I just stayed in bed, I deserve a lazy day I mean come on, birthday followed by weird ancient power, followed by huge family secret then boyfriend, then boyfriends secret, I'm spent on needing to rush around. I pick up my gift from my mom, a beautiful leather bound book, empty and ready for me to write in. I asked her what do I write and she said "Anything you want, it's called a Book of Shadows or Grimoire, you put thoughts, spells and information you learn into it." So I decided to start the first page out with everything that happened down to the last detail. That took almost an hour of writing.

"Sarah" my mom knocked on the door, "are you coming down for breakfast?" She enters my room .
"Mom do you know a Seraphina?" I ask nonchalant "Oh my, I haven't heard that name in quite awhile!" She and I were in a coven a very very long time ago we were young, maybe 15" I sit in shock then am confused "wait if you knew her when you were 15 how is it Alexes great aunt? I'm still trying to work through this in my head as my mom begins to explain,

"Phina adopted his aunt when she was a young teenager, her parents were not very nice to her, how ever they loved Alex's mom, and eventually a accident claimed Alex's mom and dad's life and of course Theresa took Alex under her wings. Phina loved Alex and Theresa, she taught them both all she knew for she feared the towns people and their judgmental ways.and Alex was taught that Seraphina was his great aunt so that he would never know the heart ache his aunt went through. Eventually the towns people made a statement and hurt Phina and caused a terrible accident and that broke Theresa, she was supposed to lead Phina's coven But she couldn't bring herself to do so. Now a lady leads it I believe your young friend Zamire's mom leads it." I began to cry half way through the story for how much they all went through and the huge heart that Seraphina must have possessed. I also began to love Alex unknowingly to myself.

That night I agreed to go to the circle with Zamire for I wanted to get an idea of who all now cast the circle that once belonged to Seraphina.
"Hey I am so glad you made it" Zamire hugged me and welcomed me inside the house.
It was very spacious in the south part of the living room was a huge fire place and a robust fire was crackling in it's hcenter, there on the mantel were hundreds of candles all lit and it made the room seem more magical and as I looked around candles were lit in other parts of the room, also I could detect a faint chalk circle that had been swept away many times in the center of the room, obviously the fire went with the circle, as it was included. I was then hugged by a very cheerful girl whom I identified as Chelsea, "O.M.G, I can't believe he talked you into it! Yay I am so happy you came!" I then looked around and noticed my normal group of friends sitting round and talking and as they glanced up they all smiled.
I heard the front door open and close and in walked Alex, he stopped and looked at me with shock and I think love, but he mellowed out his expression before I could tell for sure.

"Alex" Zamire said very clipped, and walked away, I wonder what that's about? "Are y'all okay?" I ask Alex but he just shrugs and walks over and sits down between Chelsea and her boyfriend.
About that time in walks Zamire's Mom, she is beautiful and very confidant but I instantly hate her??!! Why? She walks use over with Zamire in hand. "Mom, this is Sarah, Sarah this is my mom Trina, leader of Hidden Moon." We shake hands and Trina pulls back like she was shocked, "ouch" she says while rubbing her hand. "What's wrong?" Zamire asked worried, "Nothing probably just static" she walks away and brings everyone to the center of the circle.
"Welcome!"

Whew! Hope this turns out well had to rewrite a bit due to battery death in iPad lol!
