It's Pretty Much Sunshine

Chapter 5

A week goes by and I don't hear from Liam. I'm beginning to think my mom was right. I mean What if he had already forgotten about me? I know he's busy with the tour and stuff which I understand it just kinda hurts.

I'm sitting on my bed reading Pride and Prejudice when my phone vibrates. I look down at the screen and see a weird number. It takes me a minute to debate weather or not to answer it, but I do.

"Hello?" I say into the phone.

"Hello? Lexi it's Liam. Sorry I haven't talked to you in a while I've been really busy." Liam says in a rushed tone. "And I had to get a new number. "

"It's Okay" I say.

"Are you Okay love? You can tell me if something's wrong you know that right?" Liam asks sounding concerned.

"Uhh Yeah... I just thought that maybe you had forgotten about me and maybe That's why you weren't talking to me" I don't realize how pathetic I sound until after I say it.

"How could I forget the girl that took the last bag of pretzels?" Liam asks laughing a little.

Me and Liam talk for about another hour mostly about tour like where the boys are going and stuff. When we get off the phone I get into the shower. I can help but think about Liam. He mentioned that the boys were heading back to the UK in 2 weeks. I'm afraid that he'll forget about me. I sound so pathetic he will be at home with his family where he is the happiest. I finish taking a shower and climb into bed. I have trouble falling asleep due to the fact that all I can think about is him. I use to think it was bad when I was just a fangirl.  I wonder if Perrie and Elounor feel this way? Of course they don't because they are actually dating  the boys. After about an hour of lying in bed I finally fall asleep.

I wake up the next morning and I have a text from Liam saying that he wants to face time. Im sitting on my bed when I get the call. When I see Liam's face he looks so adorable. "How'd you sleep hun? " he asks sweetly.

"Good" I smile. "What about you?" He looks up as if he's thinking then replies. "Pretty good actually. Just been stressed. I'm ready for the tour to be over so I can go home" he sighs "we still have another week"

"Yeah" is all I say.

"What's wrong?" He asks.

"Well.. I just figure we won't talk as much once you go back home." I reply.

"Of course we will. Or you could just come with me" Liam says winking at the screen then laughing.

Little did I know.
