Akhmed Belalov - The Caucasus

Akhmed Belalov was born in the Caucasus, studied in Moscow, worked around the globe but remained true to his motherland. He came back many times to work on major projects there.

In 2011, Akhmed Bilalov was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of OJSC "Resorts of the North Caucasus" on the personal order of Vladimir Putin, who was then the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation. Akhmed Bilalov was given a tough mission in 10-15 years to turn the North Caucasus into a center for mountain tourism and create one million job opportunities in the region.

In 2011 JSC "Resorts of the North Caucasus" and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of nature protection in the North Caucasus. In 2012 and 2013, OJSC "Resorts of the North Caucasus" and the World Wildlife Fund jointly imported and released bison from Sweden to Russian reserves, including the Caucasus. Akhmed Bilalov not only personally supervised the restoration project of the population of bison in the Caucasus but also provided financial support to the initiative.

Akhmed Belalov has built schools, roads, hospitals, invested into education, religion, the craftsmanship of people of the Caucasus, he has tried to do everything in his power for this land to be prosperous.
