Why

Uhhhh

"Wait, what?"

"Do you want me to repeat myself?" He said with a sly smile.

"Yes, I want to make sure I heard you right." I said with a nervous chuckle.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He said looking at me dead in the eye.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!"

"No hesitation" He said laughing.

"Hey!" I screamed back acting annoyed. "I am tired, I am changing and going to bed."

"Ok beautiful, I'll be in bed in just a second, I am putting on a movie."

I ran to the bathroom and changed into my pajamas, they were silky and pink, they were the best ones I had, I had thought that if things got too bad I could sell them. I put my hair up in a messy bun, brushed my teeth, and ran into the bed and jumped in.

 I made sure to be quiet hoping that he wouldn't notice. I closed my eyes and not even a minute later I feel his warm body against mine, he takes my bun out and starts playing with my hair. I keep my eyes closed and then he starts crying. He starts spilling his heart out to me and all I wanted was to be there for him, but he would know I was lying. He had said that he had fallen in love with me the second he saw me, and that all he wanted was to tell me he loved me but he knew it was too soon, he then told me about his past and how he was abused by an  ex and I couldn't take it anymore. I turned around and looked him in the eye and said "O, it is all gonna be ok". Then I had wrapped my arms around him and whispered in his ear "I love you too"

He froze then laid down and put his arm around me, I put my head and hand on his chest and could feel his heartbeat, within minutes I had fallen asleep. I was finally able to sleep feeling safe, I was finally able to sleep knowing that someone was there for me. I was finally able to sleep knowing that I would ok. 

I really did love him, those weren't just words.
