Chapter 6~ The first meeting

I walked next to Jungkook going down the hallway. There was two other men behind us. I'm guessing "security guards" to make sure nothing happens to him. Jungkook looked back to make sure I was still there. He gave me a little smile.

We took a right and jungkook stopped at the double doors in front of him.

Jungkook: "okay y/n. I'm going to do the talking. The guys have no respect for women in business so if they say anything to you, I'll handle it. Also, don't take anything personal."

Y/n: "got it."

Jungkook nodded to the men behind us and they opened the door for us. As we walked in, all eyes were on us. I was a little nervous. I don't know anyone and I just got this job not to long ago.

Jungkook shook hands with the men sitting at the table. Some were giving me looks like they wanted to tear my clothes off, and Jungkook noticed. We sat down at the left side of the table. jungkook pulled a chair out for me to sit. He sat down next to me. The security guards closed the doors and the meeting started.

Seokjin: "good afternoon everyone. I'm glad to see everyone here on time."

Jungkook: "yes, thank you everyone."

Seokjin: "Mr.Jeon, would you like to introduce your new assistant to us?"

Man 1: "is she single?"

Man 2: "is she a bitch like the last one?"

Jungkook: "yes and no. She's not your toy. This is y/n, as you said, my new assistant."

Y/n: "hello."

Man 1: "cute.."

Jungkook looked at the man intensely.

Seokjin: "well, it's nice to meet you y/n. Mr.Jeon, what are your next plans for the company?"

Jungkook: "I was thinking about adding a new building."

Man 1: "a new building? That's a lot of money."

Jungkook: "which we have."

Seokjin: "hush, keep going Jeon."

Jungkook: "I want the building to be a new restaurant. I want our business to be more in the food companies as well as clothing and more."

Man 2: "why? Your other companies are doing fine. Why don't you up the prices? Why make a whole new building which takes months to work on?"

Jungkook: "are you building it? No."

Man 1: "it's not a good idea Mr.Jeon."

Jungkook kept trying and trying to persuade them into making a new building but they keep shutting him down. I couldn't just sit here and not say something. He might get mad but hey, it might help him.

Y/n: "I think we should do it."

All of the men in the room looked at me. Jungkook slowly turned his head to me. All the attention was mine.

Y/n: "why would we up the prices when they are already doing so good with the way they are now? I've seen nothing go downhill. If we up the prices, no one would buy it because it's "too expensive". If we make a new building that serves good, quality food, then we will still be making good money from it."

Y/n: "I trust that Mr.Jeon knows what he is doing and his co-workers, and employees. If you don't agree with his plan, then leave. You'll come back once this becomes big and successful."
