Chapter 9~the photo

It was 12 p.m so me and Jungkook headed to the meeting room. I was still worried about the note and what this meeting is about and why it's so last minute. The security let us in and I see jimin and Seokjin. Jimin didn't look at us as we walked in. I heard jungkook say "shit.." under his breath.

We walked into the room and sat down in our chairs.

Seokjin: "so. I'm pretty sure you know why we are here. What the hell happened to jimin? Don't tell me lies either kook."

Jungkook: "I went to my club to have a drink but then I saw jimin with my assistant. You know his past with my assistants and I didn't want the same thing happening again."

Seokjin: "so you beat the shit out of him? Because he was harmlessly with your assistant?"

Jungkook: "he was dancing behind her and putting his lips on her neck! He would've kissed her if I didn't go over there. She was drunk and had no control over her actions."

Seokjin: "so what if they did? What gives you the right to punch him in the face multiple times?"

Jungkook: "I was trying to protect y/n from jimin. That's all I'm saying."

Seokjin: "you know..you're lucky we didn't want to record this meeting because boy do I have some shit for you."

Jungkook tensed up and so did I. Mr.Kim is very intimidating. He took out an envelope and pushed it to the other side of the table for us to look at.

Jungkook: "what the hell is this?"

Seokjin: "we're you afraid of jimin stealing your assistant away...or your girlfriend?"

Jungkook's eyes widened and opened the envelope. It was a photo of us kissing outside of my apartment. Jungkook was confused and furious.

Jungkook: "how the hell do you have this! Who took this!"

Seokjin: "now that's none of your business. Explain how YOU can kiss your assistant but jimin gets beat up for it? You told me yourself that it was bad for business and that you had no feelings for her."

Jungkook: "I.."

Seokjin: "you even said yourself she was drunk and had no control! That is really bad for you huh? I could ruin this WHOLE business of yours."

Jungkook: "your profit is due to the majority of my business. Your money started go up ever since we started working together and there's papers to prove it. Do you really want to live like that again?"

Seokjin had nothing to say.

Seokjin: "apologize to jimin and we can forget about this whole bar fight. But, I want this little boss and assistant thing to stop before you get into some deep shit. Okay?"

Jungkook: "I understand. Me and y/n talked about this already."

Jimin looked at Jungkook. His eye was bruised really badly.

Jungkook: "I'm sorry jimin. You know how protective I can get."

Jimin: "yeah for the people you love. You love y/n don't you?"

Jungkook: "even if I did, we couldn't be together. It's our business, not yours."

Jimin: "the company or your relationship?"

I was tired of feeling like I wasn't apart of this meeting so I spoke up.

Y/n: "this meeting is wasting time. Both of you, it's me and Mr.Jeon's business so get out of it. We've handled it like the adults we are and not obsessing over a small drunk kiss. So please, talk about something productive to the business or leave."

Jungkook smiled and looked proud of me. Jimin shook his head and stood up.

Jimin: "I guess we'll leave then. I accept your apology but not your threat."

I looked at Jungkook confused. Seokjin and jimin both walked out of the room. When the doors closed I looked at Jungkook.

Y/n: "what is he talking about?"

Jungkook: "nothing. He's just messing around."

Y/n: "what did you whisper to him at the bar?"

He didn't answer me. He started heading for the door until I pulled his arm.

Y/n: "please! I want to know!"

Jungkook sighed and turned around to face me.

Jungkook: "y/n, I am very protective of you. You're my assistant so I have to make sure your safe. Jimin is a threat to me so I'm a threat to him. I told him if I see him with you again, I would kill him next time. But I didn't mean it."

I just looked at him. I wasn't shocked at all from what he said.

Y/n: "thank you for telling me."

I walked out of the room and left Jungkook in there alone.
