After the day's over, Clementine drives you to your house. It's late--meaning your dad's gonna beat the shit out of you. She pulls up next to it and stops the truck. You look at the house.
Clem: Welp. I guess I'll be seeing you tomorrow.
You: Yeah, uh...
Clem: What's wrong?
You: Nothing, it's just...
You look at Clem.
You: Would you mind if I stayed at your house for the night?
Her eyes widen.
Clem: What?
You: Just for the night?
Clem: Why can't you stay here?
You look down.
You: I...
You look up at her.
You: I can't answer that.
She raises her eyebrow.
You: Please, Clementine?
Clem looks down and sighs. She looks up at you after she's made her decision.
Clem: Sure.
You smile.
Clem: I mean, I'll have to ask my dad, but I'm sure he'll be cool with it.
You: Thanks, Clem.
She smiles at you.
Clem: No problem.
She turns the truck back on and turns it around. She drives down the road. She does a U-turn and drives into her garage.
Clem: Alright.
She takes off her seatbelt.
Clem: Try not to get overwhelmed.
You raise your eyebrow. She gets out of the truck. You take off your seatbelt and you hop out of the truck.
You both walk out of the garage and over to the front steps. You both walk up the steps and Clem unlocks the front door.
You both walk in the house to see a few kids running around. You both walk into the living room to see Clem's family watching TV.
A little boy with an afro looks behind him to see you and Clem. He smiles.
Boy: Clem's back!
He jumps over the couch and runs up to Clem, giving her a hug, so she hugs back.
Clem: Hey, AJ.
Teen: 'Bout time you got back. I'm fucking starving.
Lee: Language, Aasim.
Aasim: Sorry.
A woman from another room yells to everyone.
Woman: Clem's here?
Lee yells back to the woman.
Lee: Yep, she's here.
You can hear footsteps approaching the living room.
Woman: Great. We can finally start--
She walks into the living room to see you.
Woman: Well, hello.
You smile and wave.
You: Hi.
She walks up to you.
