As I stared in the mirror looking at my brown hair which was finally getting long again. A baby face that I was lucky to have thanks to my mother who was very beautiful at one point but like everything else that was fucked now. I ran my fingers over my heavily tattooed arm, looking at all the different tattoos, thinking of the stories and meanings behind them. "Shel. Shelby we have to go". My best friend had been staying with me lately which was nice since I was in a funk of bad moods.

I tossed on my tank top and a pair of jeans along with my fair pair of worn down DC shoes. I really needed to replace them. I ran down the stairs and grabbed my purse heading out the car where she was already waiting for me. "Jesus you take forever women!". "Sorry". I started up the car and pulled out of the drive way. She was a pretty girl with short blonde hair with purple and pink bangs. She was like my other half, I honestly don't think I would have survived everything that happened without her. Between my dad diving into his work and getting into a serious relationship after my mother. My step mom and I didn't get along at all and it really didn't help that I was thrown to live with them when I was 14 years old. I slit my wrist and was thrown into a mental ward but thankfully my dad loved me and got me out to live with them.

"Are you even paying any attention at all?". Autumn smacked my arm. "What?". "Starbucks, you passed it". I turned around and we pulled into the drive thru. I always got the same thing. A caramel frappe with extra caramel and an extra shot of espresso. I rolled my eyes in the back of my head when taking the first big gulp. Autumn couldn't stop laughing her ass off. "Dramatic much?". I flipped her off playfully. "First off, I love Starbucks and second you know I can be overly dramatic".

We drove and finally got to the concert which I had been waiting for awhile now. Thank god it was here. It was over cast and actually kind of chilly to be honest. "Let's go to the merch table!". Autumn was definitely excited. I stood around with her looking around till I decided to find a restroom. I found it threw a crowd of people . When I was done, I looked around for Autumn and couldn't find her. Within a moment I was knocked to my feet. "Ow". I looked down at my shirt to see it wet as well. "damn it!". I was about to be pissed off quickly until I saw a man with very blue eyes, long hair and a soft face looking down at me and extending his hand out to me.

"I'm so sorry. I want paying attention to where I was going". He was very soft spoken and shy seeming almost. I got to my feet. "It's ok, happens". He went to say something when Autumn came up almost grouchy like. "Are you okay Shelby?". She shot a nasty look at the man. "Ya I'm fine, this guy just accidentally ran into me". "I'm Ricky. Do you need a shirt or something?". I nodded. "Follow me". We walked to a tour bus and he opened the door. I stood in my place as he walked back to the bunks. I could hear him tossing some stuff around for a moment before coming back out. "All my shirts are dirty but you can have my jacket". He handed me the jacket and I walked into a tiny bus bathroom to change.

I put on the jacket and tried to soak up some of the water from my shirt and bra with a couple pieces of toilet paper. Didn't really work though. I opened the door and jumped back as I saw someone right in front of me. The guy was a little taller then Ricky and had two upper lip piercings with big gauges in his ears. "Well damn Ricky, aren't you just a player. Got pretty girls hiding in the bus". He took a drag off his cigarette. "Shut up. I ran into her and got water all over her. I'm giving her my jacket". The guy in front of me held out his hand and I shook it. God I was not a touch me kind of person. "I'm Balz". I smiled at him and let him in the bathroom. "Thank you, I can give it back to you after the concert when my tank top is dry or something?". He exhaled smoke. "Nah keep it". We said goodbye and I saw Ricky smiled a cute almost child like smile as we walked off.

"Well they were kind of hot". Autumn chimed in as we walked back to get into the crowd to see the bands. "Eh". She rolled her eyes and huffed. "I know you've been single forever and all dark and emotional since tall dark and handsome ran away which is totally fine in my book since he was a fucking asshole but I know you like boys covered in tattoos. Hell is half of the reason we come to these things. Metal music and guys". I could help but smile. She really does know me too well.
