Riley's POV:
I sat next to Hana on the morning bus. We talked for a while. Over time we started to hang out. Hana said her dad was "over protective" which is annoying.

We walked to chemistry quizzing each other before we had the test. Mr.Vally came in late again. He sped into the classroom as we all casually sat down. He jerked open his suitcase and yanked out a huge stack of stapled papers.

My breath unsteadied as he dropped them on his desk making a loud thud. Hana and I both jumped at the thud. We looked at each other and laughed. I didn't stop looking at Hana. She was so beautiful. She glanced at me every once in a while.

After the test I just watched her sit by me. Her black earbuds plugged in listening to a nicer song than usual. I usually hear T-Pain blasting but this time it was mellower and calmer. Her smile shining toward me just to soon bite her lip.

Hana's POV:
After school me and Riley walked home. We skipped the bus and talked the whole time. When we started to near the house we went silent a bit. The bus engine in the background as we walked. The bus dropped of the others as we got to my house. We stopped and looked at each other in front of the house on the sidewalk.

"Thanks for walking with me." I said smiling.

"No problem. Anytime, I'm just down the street always." He laughed.

"Thank you, I mean it."

I started to hug him. It was a long hug. I pulled away still my arms around his neck. I lifted my hands to his neck pulling him close. I didn't think I'd ever like Riley like this. He was just my friend. Our lips connected for a minute.

"I'm sorry." I said turning away.

"No it's okay." He said as he took my hand.

"I never thought I'd like you. Like this."

"I liked you when I first met you. It's complicated." He said letting go of my hand.

"I have a deal. I do like you a lot. But the thing is, my dad can't find out or I'd be as good as dead."

"Got it. Thank you for giving me a chance."

"No I'm giving myself a chance to save myself. And you a chance." I said.

I walked to him again and kissed him quickly and ran inside. He left up the street as I looked out the window.
