I've been sneaking out with Riley. I met his brother Danny. We've been hanging out. I feel like a bad person but it was always so much fun. We had a blast each time. Sometimes we stole from stores and snuck into places we wouldn't be able to go.
Kyla is the best sister ever. She would lie to dad for me. It's been a few months. Winter was on its way. School was over for winter break in two weeks. I was with Riley and Danny mostly at school. We were with a lot of their friends. I was the only girl in their group. Riley and I made it pretty public that we were together and all. We were in the school newspaper. I threw it in the recycling before my dad got it. They called us the power couple of the month, three times.
As each day getting colder and the air getting thicker. Kyla's birthday is in a week. I'm getting her a new doll and taking her shopping. Dad is getting her a dog.
I was in Fred Meyers with Riley. We were looking at presents for Kyla. Riley hasn't met Kyla yet. But he will meet her. We picked out the holiday Barbie for her and we went to the register. I pulled out twenty dollars. I got three dollars in change and I grabbed the bag.
We walked to my house at Fred Meyers. I held Riley's hand as we walked up the street. I held Kylas present in the bag slung across my shoulder.
