{Y/N} means {Your Name}

[This was completed when I made the chapter for the high-school one. I just never got around to publishing it since I was ambitious and wanted to publish 5 chapters at once for this story to start it off. But BIG DREAMS die hard]

A tight grip grabs hold of my side giving a hard shake that startles me awake. I grab the wrist of the hand gripping my side; before, I pull it off of me and roll out of my sheets. Falling to the ground sore I force myself to jump to my feet to see who shook me. Looking around I don't see any cadets in the dormitory spaced with bunk beds. Until I feel Adora's dense arms lock around me in a crushing hug. Her voice full of excitement,

"{Y/N} you really need to start sleeping early! I can't always be here to wake you before training." Her hug makes it hard to speak with air being squeezed out of,
"A-adora please loosen your hug it's crushing me!"
"Fiiine just wanted to get you ready for this evaluation. Maybe even get excited too." Adora unwraps her vice of embrace. My speaking getting easy again,

"Excited to be paralyzed by bots again? I wish I had the same feelings about training."
"No that will always be the worst. But what these do is show who is force captain material, and ready for active duty out of the Fright Zone."
"You still have that dream. Well I can say I'm only looking forward to testing out my baton then getting a pin for Force Captain."
"You don't care for the title?" Adora tilts her head confused,
"I do but remember I'm trying to get a role in improving our weapons. Make the Horde stronger through our weapons. Force Captain title all I get is the ability to lead brutes... wait," A thought comes to my mind; however, it disappears as my tired attention goes to her voice,
"Well if you want to test that baton better get ready fast. I'll be waiting in the locker room {Y/N}," I watch her leave the room. My sleepy eyes drift up and down at her attractive figure but I thought Catra held the strongest figure between the both of them. My eyes rest on Adora's hips before the view is closed off by the metal door.

After having gone to the bathroom I went to the locker room to get geared up for evaluation. Adora practices her punches, and kicks on a punching bag with a princess figure taped on it as I get dressed. I first put on a metal vest with a upside down green pentagon on it, metal guards on my forearm, and shins, along with a belt being tightly wrapped around the waist. Lastly putting on green glasses and helmet. I grab my baton from my locker, pushing a button on the handle which causes sparks to shot out at two tips at the top of it with a loud crack like a taser. Flinching I speak, "sheesh, I tend to forget how scary this thing is," I push the button again to turn the baton off clipping it on my belt.

A voice over the intercom is heard calling us cadets to training. Adora smiles and looks at me, "Ready?" Looking over at her I nod,
"Yeah have a new modification to show off."

Sliding our sprint to a stop when we reached training, me and Adora wave to the other cadets: Lonnie, Kyle, and Rogelio who wave back to us. Adora speaks up when she notices them, "Where is catra?" The three cadets shrug but before a comment could be made a female instructor briefs us over the intercom,

"Cadets this scenario will be based on eliminating the princess queens of Bright Moon, but first you must traverse the Whispering Woods to get to Bright Moon. Remember we are doing this in the name of Hordak. Training begins now!"

The intercom shuts off, trees and boulders took shape in the room forming the Whispering Woods, yet the floor stayed as hexagonal tiles. Spherical bots that walked on four legs march towards us from behind the trees, our glasses made them resemble maniacal princesses that began to shot bolts of energy at us. Fear kicked in with my heart pounding in my chest the bolts of energy got us all to split up for cover, a beeping is heard with it getting longer and louder as I run behind a boulder with the beeping finishing off as an explosion of bot parts flying past my cover. I kept my breathing under control to keep calm; forming a plan in my head as I check where the bots are. A sight of Lonnie and Adora fighting with the bots close quarters holds most of the bots' attention, while Rogelio and Kyle are seen using grenades to keep the bots on higher ground from getting a clear shot; using the cadets as a distraction I grab my baton off my belt, turning it on as I head off to flank a few bots that are taking aim at Lonnie and Adora from trees near me. I hit one hard from behind which makes a dent in the metal along with a tase strong enough to fry the bot's core, the one next to it aims a bolt of energy but I stab the baton straight into its eye, causing a puff of smoke to come out it. Lonnie finishes off the last bot with a stab of her staff giving us a chance to go deeper into the forest with me following in the back.
