"IF YOU'RE HERE ON BEHALF OF THE NYPD, WHY IS ALLISON HARGREEVES WITH YOU?" Rosaleen stared at the cop in front of her. When they were caught up in traffic, and noticed the police tape around the town's restaurant, Rosaleen and Allison instantly went to check it out.
The officer turned out to be a huge fan of Allison's, so Rosaleen was going to use that as an advantage.
"Why can't she be?"
"She's an actress, a movie star. Why would she be working on this case with you?"
Rosaleen glanced at Allison, who was speechless. Rosaleen continued to stall while she thought of an excuse.
"Because I needed some support. Just because she's an actress doesn't mean she can't help me."
"It doesn't make sense that an actress would be helping a forensic scientist on a case."
"Well things are different in New York, and my business is my business. I'm simply asking to see the witness for some information on this case."
The man narrowed his eyes at Rosaleen, "I've been working in this force for three decades,"

"Congratulations? And I've been alive for three decades."
"Look, I know when things aren't legit, and seeing that you have an actress with you researching about a murder case does not make sense to me at all."
Rosaleen held back a groan.
"I'm a fan," he glanced at Allison, "and I know you don't work in the NYPD or in the forensics department."
"Alright, look," Rosaleen started, getting fed up, "I didn't want to say anything since I would literally be sued by her agency for it, but here's a little secret. You can keep a secret, right? Anyway, Ms. Hargreeves is here with me because she is going to take on a law enforcement role for her upcoming movie, wow so exciting right?" Rosaleen faked a grin and pretended to be excited when the man's eyes widen and he seemed excited about the news.
"So I've brought her with me since she is going to be, oh spoiler alert, a forensic scientist in the movie, and she's going to be studying off this experience to perfect the role. So what you're gonna do, is let me do my job, help Ms. Hargreeves, and take us to the witness."
