Chapter 9

You destroyed him.

You fcking destroyed him.

Her voice keep bugging his mind for a week. After that confrontation, Kai never felt Sophia's presence anymore. Even outside the campus. She was no where to be found. She suddenly went out of sight.

Kyungsoo got serious problems with his study. His parents got very disappointed specially about the drug case. but richest can do what they have to do. They covered everything up and let Kyungsoo took a retake exam.

Kai and his friends is in the canteen at the moment. Doing busy things on their own. Kyungsoo doing a review, Sehun and Chanyeol talking about random stuff, Suho just browsing in his phone and Baekhyun his also out of sight. Maybe banging chicks around the corner.

  It's never new to them.

"Have you seen Baekhyun? He went away right after class." Suho blurted out that made Kai confuse. He don't want to get into conclusions right now.

Kai stood up from his seat that caught the four of guard. "Where you going?" Chanyeol frown at him.

  He pointed outside the canteen. "Look for Baekhyun, I need to talk with him about the recent project this semester." The four men nod at him then got back to their own world once more.

   Kai didn't know what he was actually doing. He just want to search something that wouldn't make the guys jump into conclusions like he is right now. But maybe he just want to investigate and to make sure?

"You know algebra is a good subject." The voice made him stop. It came from the locker at the left hallway.

"I did pass the subject smoothly last semester. Easy, Right?" It was followed by a laughter with a very familiar person.

Kai walk quietly with his hands in his pocket. He stop at the edge and peak. "And this is just a simple fractions but hard for you to pick up? Now, I'm having doubts about your ability in Math."

Baekhyun laugh at the woman who is sitting over the plant box. The figure was really familiar and when he check the shoes, He was right. Baekhyun and Sophia secretly having their time in an empty hallway.

  His fist clench so does his jaw in irritation. His mad that she was actually hiding from him and now doing something behind his back. He don't like this feeling. He should never felt this.

  But seeing her close with Baekhyun like they were nothing but friendship in between them is pissing him off and he doesn't know why. What's the reason with this sudden feelings?

"Baekhyun!" Her voice echoed at the hallway but since they didn't that know that someone is around they didn't mind about it. Instead they continued laughing like they have their own world.

  Kai glared and storm away. He continued walking back to the canteen where the four of his friends are waiting for him to arrive. Sehun pointed at him so making all of them in the table turn to his way. He was keeping a cold aura.

"Where's Baekhyun?"

"Did you find him?"

Yeah, He was flirting with the girl you bang last month. He wanted to say but instead he keeo his mouth shut and shrug.

"I didn't. Let's just leave for class. We're almost late." The four nodded and took their bags to walk out the canteen.

  The class past by and Baekhyun didn't arrive in todays meeting. That's not new for him. Kai knew the reason why and he didn't mind doing the reports alone. So he just did.
