I remember how I
Would follow you around
Just to be within your reach
Just to keep what I have found
I remember that night
How lovely we spent our time
When you said, "Call me by your name,
And I'll call you by mine."
I remember what my dad had said
That our hearts are given only once
And I have thought about that since
For days and weeks and months
Afraid it will grow tired
Scared it may become restless
But now I begin to fathom
My heart won't love you any less
It hasn't and never will wear out
For it is love that runs through
For as long as it should
It shall only for you
