✨ 3 HOURS TO KAIRI'S FLIGHT✨

Omniscient

The 21 year old loaded his car and started his journey to the airport. His body and mind fell numb as the thoughts of him losing everything came rushing at him like an angry bull. The small male wiped stray tears that fell from his droopy eyes as he pulled up to his gate. He looked at the time and saw he had 20 minutes to spare so he chose to cry as much as he could while sitting there and waiting for his time to come so he can go check in. After 15 minutes of sobbing and talking down on himself, he sat up and wiped his tears, sniffling and hiccuping. He looked in the rare view mirror and saw his eyes were red and puffy , in all honesty the boy couldn't care less because the man he loved had rejected him and one of the only person's who really cared had left him.

"Why does everybody leave me?" Kairi whispered before sighing and getting out of his vehicle. He got his bags out of the trunk and took a deep breath before walking to the elevator that lead to the entrance of the airport. Check in wasn't much of a hassle and Kairi couldn't be more grateful for that. Maybe it was because he looked a wreck and the security guards felt bad for him or maybe it's because a specific family was waiting for him at his gate and the universe didn't want him to miss another second not being in their presence. Kairi walked to his gate and saw there was a Starbucks next to it, the boy stopped, got in line and decided that he'd get a vanilla bean frap.

"Starbucks ? Can you get anymore basic?" A voice behind him asked. Kairi's heart jumped, he knew the voice anywhere and he wanted it to be real. He turned around and saw Mattia standing there, Elyssa in her car seat in his left hand while Michael held his right hand. Kairi's teared up before running to them and hugging mattia.

"I'm so sorry" Kairi cried

"It's okay princess, we're here, I forgive you and we're not going anywhere" Mattia purred into his lover's ear.

"It's okay mommy" Michael said hugging the male's legs.

about 2 hours after  Kairi had left, the man took the responsibility to call kairi's mother and sympathize with her, which lead to them talking for a while and she mentioned Kairi had  called her just before he did and he told his mom that he bought a plane ticket for a flight that was leaving at 3 a.m , that following morning. So after they hung up the phone Mattia called Michael to his office and asked the 5 year old if he'd like to go on a trip. Of course the boy said yes and Mattia purchased them all their tickets. When Mattia saw kairi's physical state his heart tore apart, he was disgusted with himself knowing he had caused the small boy to look like that.

"How'd you know my flight time?" Kairi asked sniffling.

"I called your mom to sympathize with her  and we ended up talking about life for a bit and she mentioned it, so I said why not be dramatic and come ask for a second chance before we go to Japan"

"You want to be with me?" Kairi croaked out looking up at Mattia with tear stained cheeks. By this time they had captured the attention of  a few people around, some were staring in awe while others were recording.

"Of course, I never stopped wanting to be with you" Mattia whispered, he placed Elyssa down and held kairi's cheeks. "Can I kiss you?"

"Yes please" Kairi whispered and the older pulled him into a passionate kiss. This kiss wasn't like the others, this one had something extra. It had love in it , pure raw sappy love. It was so refreshing Kairi popped a foot back (The Princess Diaries tease). Mattia sighed in content and smiled into the kiss before he pulled away.

"I love you" he confessed smirking as Kairi blushed a deep red.

"I love you too"

"Hey, doesn't anyone love me?" Michael interjected causing laughter to come from the people who were either crying and watching , crying and recording or just straight up clapping like it was a show.

"I love you too" Kairi said tickling Michael.

"Mommy stop" Michael laughed.

Kairi had finally gotten what he wanted and yeah maybe his grandma was no longer alive but he had a feeling she helped clear his dark path.

"And that is how we are here today" Mattia said to his 18 year old son and 13 year old daughter. The couple were telling their children the story of how they fell in love for the third time.

"God, I love your love story" Elyssa said dreamily.

"Wait wait wait so let me get this straight, mom tried to kill himself because of a guy who got his cousin pregnant?"

"Correct" Kairi said from his husband's lap.

"and dad was your doctor and you stalked him?"

"I prefer the term watched but yeah okay" Kairi defended and Mattia chuckled.

"and you killed a lady because she called dad the F-slur?" Michael asked and the couple simply nodded.

"Dad how'd you take that news?" Elyssa asked looking at her father.

"That's a story for another time-"

"And my biological mother touched my dick?" Michael asked in disbelief.

"Ugh Michael stop being so slow jeez it hurts my brain" Elyssa complained hitting her brother with a pillow.

"Hey watch it stupid" Michael spat getting up from the arm of the chair and pounding on his sister.

Kairi and Mattia watched fondly at the kids and shook their heads. Mattia pecked behind kairi's ear and smirked when he saw the younger shudder.

"Bebe stop, not in front of the kids" Kairi said feeling his husband's  boner poke him.

"Let's go to our bedroom, they'll be fine" Mattia whispered, he tapped kairi's thighs and the male got up. Mattia grabbed his husband's  hand before leaving the room and letting their children fight out their issues. Kairi looked at the back of his husband's head and smiled, he was truly happy and he couldn't be more grateful that he got the job of being The Nanny.
