"My Dearest, Nightowl," she began slowly. "After several hours of careful consideration, I've decided to take you up on your offer. The Council of the Wasteland will have it's very first meeting tomorrow at noon.

"I would like you to be our information gatherer. As you also offered the position. There is no need to gather any material for this meeting as we need to discuss the issue at hand.

"I trust to see you there. If you decide to join us, a spirit will escort you safely to my temple when you enter the Wasteland Gateway.

"Sincerely, The Elder of the Wastes."

"Oh. My. Gosh." Catrin breathed. "That's insane! An invitation from the Elder himself!"

"Are you gonna go?" Purple asked.

"Well, I kinda have to," Nightowl responded. "I gave my word that whatever he ask me to do, I'd do it,"

"Then why did he ask?" Luna questioned.

Nightowl shrugged. "To let me know? Other than that, it beats me."

"I hope you can figure out a solution Night," Early Bird said cheerfully.

"Me too," Nightowl replied, laughing nervously. "I'll be my first every meeting I attend, full of a bunch of important people and a really important matter,"

"You'll do great!" Catrin said encouragingly.

Luna and Purple gave their affirmations too, and Nightowl felt a tad better.

"Oh! But...you might want to dress in something a little more...formal..." Early Bird said chuckling.

"This isn't formal enough?" Nightowl asked, slightly hurt.

"I'm just saying, you want to make a good first impression,"

"Yeah, but my Manta Onesie!!"

"They probably won't care about your onesie, Night,"

"But I care!"

"Guys!" Luna cried, and the sisters stopped arguing. "Look, it's late. Nightowl has an important event to attend and we all have candle farming to do. So knock it off with the arguing?"

The sisters nodded silently, dropping their heads in shame.

Nightowl awoke on her cloud, finding herself clutching the letter she'd received last night. She sighed and looked up at the early morning sky.

The bells from the Isle of Dawn echoed through the Gateway, chiming eight times. She'd have at least four hours of candle running. That should be enough time.

Tucking the letter into her cape, she hopped down and started with the Daily Quests. The spirit was near the Hidden Forest Gateway, so she walked up to him, waving cheerfully.

He waved back and looked at her for a little bit. "I saw what happened last night. I hope you stay safe," he handed her her Daily Quests.

"Oh...thank you," Nightowl replied, a little shocked, taking the Quests and walking through the portal.

As she did her candle run and Daily Quests throughout the Hidden Forest, the Spirits all looked at her and muttered worried things behind her back.

As she was meditating, her ears pricked up as she heard the Hide'n'Seek Pioneer whisper to the Shivering Trailblazer.

"Didn't she receive a letter from him last night?" Asked the Pioneer quietly.
