"Malia." Y/N began, eyes glazing over Malia's face.
"I love you."
Malia inhaled sharply, and swallowed thickly. Her eyes averted from Y/N's. She hadn't heard those words in a long time, and as much as she wanted to hear them from Y/N, a pit grew in her stomach.
Y/N's face fell at Malia's lack of response. She tilted her head and reached out to touch Malia's arm.
"I'm sorry." Malia stuttered out before running off, leaving Y/N alone.
