"Welcome, new dormmate!"

"OBJECTS THAT I SHOVED UP MY ARSE."

Okay. I'm awake. I'm already awake

"VIBRATORS."

"I'm awake! Jesus." I plopped down myself and turned off the alarm, blaring out its sound at seven am. Trying to calm my heart down from that sudden noise, I swiftly changed my posture to do my morning stretches to start up the day. You know that feeling when you stretch so hard, your body becomes tingly and trembling. It's the best feeling in the world. But, right after that, your body just got weigh down, and sometimes it makes you want to sleep again. Yet, I can't just sleep like that again. Once I wake up, I wake up and fully aware of my surroundings, even though my eyes feel dry and heavy.

Lately, I've been relying on alarms than the natural sunlight from my window. Because these days, my eyes are being damn reluctant. I'm starting to lowkey regret my change of schedule, and also my alarm choice. Although it gives me such a boost in terms of viewership counts and donation, it's also tiring me down. I now have to do my assignments and project right after my lectures and then I continued it by streaming my ass off. At this point, I have to hire an editor. I just can't keep this up by myself, y' know?

Quickly did I undress and hop into the shower. The water has turned warm, the perfect temperature to soak my aching body. The longer I spent in the shower, the colder it gets. Trust me, that plumbing system could be the death of me. God knows that a blizzard could one day, strike California, and I'll be dying for hypothermia and my warm water isn't there to save me from the cold, uncaring air.

As I stepped out of the showers, I was immediately met by a gust of chilly air. My hands here are the real hero, it took my towel and wrap it around my body with accurate precision. I swear to Jesus H. Christ, why am I gifted with the ability to wrap towels fast and neat but I can't even do parkour in Minecraft? Have you known how many views drops I received each time I fell? I tell you, a lot.

I got dressed in some snazzy clothes (you know, a mix of an oversized floral tropical shirt with a black turtleneck and high-waisted jeans). I head down to the nearest coffee shop and got myself and Dave's coffee. As usual, I mistakenly said venti for the cup size because my basic ass took control every time I smell a hint of coffee in the air. I really need to stop ordering from two different coffee shops.

"Eden, say it with me again, and make sure this the last time, it's large, not venti," Charlie, my barista that always took my order for the last past two years because he's stuck with the morning shifts, tapped down his marker on the cups. I see that he's wearing his infamous green slime T-Shirt and his nerdy glasses. Luckily, if he wants to mess around, he has the chance to do it now. This place is more deserted than Trump's Rally that has been destroyed by Gen Z. And it looks like nobody is entering the shop in the next 40 minutes.

"Okay, Charlie, I get it."

"Eden, look at me," I glanced up at him as his two fingers point onto his eyes, "now, look at my lips when I'm talking and see the cups when you hear a tapping marker." I sighed.

"Yes, Charlie." This guy here is reaching the level of exhaustion that I don't even know I could reach. He readjusts his glasses and gives out such an embarrassed laugh, more like a dismissive chuckle actually.

"This is the smallest cup, which is small." click click, I nodded eagerly, "it is not tall."

"This here," click, "is a medium, not a grande."

"Now the last one is large," click click click, "it's not venti, and it will never be a venti."

"Thanks, Charlie, I couldn't have remembered it without you," I made sure to give him a sarcastic tone as I grinned. He chuckled dryly and he then proceeds to avert his gaze upon my presence. I gave him a puzzling look and he lifts up one of his eyebrows, only to realize that I haven't actually ordered anything. I had just accidentally said venti and he snapped. Obviously an understandable reaction, I've been doing that for over a year.
