Everything stops
Everything is still
Everything is silent
Every creek
From the floor boards
Every crack
Made in the walls
Every gaze
At their faces
Every tear
From their judgement.
Yet, they don't know you at all.
Who really does in this world?
Others like us?
The total strangers
Who seem to be able to love us
More than the people in front of us.
We are a different kind
A different spieces, to you.
We see the world around us
Differently than you do.
We see it as if Death was safer
As if Death was kinder.
As if Death was nicer.
As if Death was easier
As if Death was more apealing.
As if Death held out his hand polietly
And invited me inside.
It would actually be my choice
To stay or to go.
Life didn't give me a choice.
I got stuck here with no one
Life didn't hold out her hand polietly
And invite me inside.
She pulled me inside
And locked the door
So that i couldn't go back.
Death saw I was in trouble
And he offered his assistance
I spent a lot of time with him
I always think about him
And one day
I know i'll get to meet him
And I can finally take his hand
And go inside.
Sometimes I try to leave early
To go and finally meet Death
But everytime I try
Life doesn't let me
And she pulls me back in
And punishes me for trying.
With every gaze
From their faces
And every tear
From their judgement.
She punishes me.
But one day
I know i'll get to meet him
And i can finally take his hand
And go inside.
