Chapter 3

       "911 what is your emergency?" "I-III just came home from my summer camp to-t-to f-find my Mom, Step-dad, and little sister murdered." I said in a very shaky and raspy voice from all the crying. "I'm so sorry honey. What is your address?" So I gave her my address and she said, "Alright sweety just hang in there and the police will be on their way." "Okay" I replied and with that they hung up.

***Time skip to 10 min later***

There was a knocking at the door, so I answered it. "Where are the bodies, kid?" the police bluntly stated. "They're in my Mom's bedroom." That was all I could choke out, hoarse from crying. Less than 5 minutes later, a sweet lady showed up saying that she was a social worker, and asked if I knew any living relatives. I of course said no because the gods didn't care, and definitely wouldn't take me in. Upon hearing that, the social worker got on the phone, asking people to trace my family tree and other random stuff.

****TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY BOB****

***(IN SPONGEBOB NARRATOR VOICE) Three days later***

       The past few days had been rough on Percy. Whether it was the social worker that stopped by to update him nonstop on progress for any living relatives, the fact that his family and closest friends had died, or that his one and only Wisegirl was gone. Around 1 pm on the third day after he has come home, the social worker named Bella, dropped by to tell Percy some good news."Hey Percy, how's it going?" The social worker asked. "Okay but I still miss my family" Percy said with a far away look in his eyes.
"Well, I have some good news for you, we found your half aunt on your Mom's side." "Really, who is she?" Percy replied happily. "She is an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D, an assassin, a spy, and an Avenger." Was Bella's reply. "She lives in Midtown Manhattan in the Avengers tower!" I was confused by this because why is she so excited about a tower? So I asked, "What's so exciting about the Avengers tower?" At this she was VERY shocked. "YOU DON'T KNOW WHO THE AVENGERS ARE!!!!" My absolutely fabulous response was, "Uhhhhh am I supposed to?" So, for the rest of the 4 long hours she droned on, and on about how they saved New York from one (measly) attack. To be honest I was quite bored because I had done more than them when I WAS 12, and here they were praised for doing something that all demigods had to deal with 10 fold for their whole life, sometime since they were 7! (ten times the original amount if u don't know what 10 fold means) At the end of her rambling she stated that my Aunt had agreed to take me in and would pick me up in 30 min. Oh well, guess I gotta go pack.
