Yukino (Fairy Tail) x Male Reader

No One's POV

A/N: Just to be clear I am halfway through Fairy Tail. So I had to do some research for Yukino, to try and understand what happens with her, and if I messed up some things, I am sorry. I will also probably not stick to the canon much.

(Y/N) was cleaning a counter with a damp rag as it was getting late at night. It was empty in the small café he was in as a single light was on that shined where he was cleaning. As he wiped over the last spot the door opened for a woman with silver hair, a blue rose n her hair, and brown eyes walked as she looked around, "Are you closed?" (Y/N) the rag away, "I can whip you something up real quick." "Just a quick coffee." (Y/N) started up a coffee maker, "May I ask why your having coffee this late?" "I have a job and it requires me to protect someone on a boat all night." "So something strong then." It took (Y/N) a couple of minutes until he put some coffee in a cup, "Want anything in it?" "Cream please." "Will do." He then added some cream along with some strawberry vanilla flavoring.

He then gave Yukino her order as he put the lid on. Yukino took a sip to close her eyes as she hummed, "This is really good. Although it isn't really strong." "Don't worry, it'll keep you up all night." "Ok. How much?" "Well I'm technically not open right now, so this is just me giving you some coffee to help you." She started to walk out, "Thank you." "Good luck on your mission." Yukino left for (Y/N) to lock up the building to head towards his house.

A few weeks later (Y/N) fixed up a latte as he watched the tournament between guilds. He leaned on the counter as he, and everyone else, watched Yukino fight Kagura. Yukino lost to which (Y/N) hung his head as he felt bad about Yukino losing, and according to what she has said her guild did not like to lose. When it became nearly dark he cleaned up to see Yukino walking down the street, while in normal clothes for once, and a bag she strolled behind her. He walked to the door to walk outside as he smiled, "Hey Yukino. What are you doing here this late?" Yukino quickly wiped away a tear as she looked at (Y/N) with a smile, "Hey (Y/N). I'm just going on a job." "Do you want something to go?" "No I have to be quick or I'll miss the train." "When will you be back?" "I don't know." 

Natsu then walked up the two as he waved them, "Hey Yukino!" He then looked at (Y/N), "Hey (Y/N)." "You still owe me for that chair that you broke." Natsu sweat dropped a little, "Oh yeah. I'll pay you back tomorrow." "You said that yesterday." He then looked at Yukino, "Where are you going?" "Oh she said that she's going on a job." Natsu looked at him confused, "Guilds don't go on jobs during the festival. Even if you lost." This made the two look at Yukino who seemed to look like she was about to cry until she started to shake a little. She then started to cry, "Sabertooth kicked me out." The two looked at her with some disbelief, "What?" She then fell to her knees as she held herself, "I only lost once, and they just kicked me out. I have no where to go now." Natsu hit the palm of his hand with his fist, "How dare they make their own family cry. I'm gonna go pay Sabertooth a visit." (Y/N) pulled out a red crystal as he handed it to Natsu, "Here. This will put a fire in your stomach." Natsu took it, "Thanks." He then quickly ran away to have (Y/N) squat next to Yukino as he put his hand on her shoulder, for her to continue to cry, "What am I going to do?" 

(Y/N) thought for a moment, "You can come and stay at my place." Yukino looked at him as her eyes started to become red, "Really?" "Yeah come on." He stood up while helping Yukino up to help her to his apartment as he rolled her luggage behind him. They soon made it for (Y/N) to set Yukino on the couch as he went to make her some tea. He gave her the cup as he sat next to her, "Here." Yukino took a sip a she held the cup in both of her hands, "What am I going to do?" "You can stay here until you get back on your feet." "Why?" (Y/N) sighed a little to rub Yukino's back, "Everyone falls on there back sometimes, that's why we need someone to help us up." "You know, after everyone that I've met in Sabertooth, your my greatest friend." "Well we do find friends in the unlikeliest of places." Yukino then leaned against (Y/N)'s shoulder as she brought her feet up on the couch with her legs bent. She wrapped her arms around (Y/N), "Hold me please." (Y/N) did what she asked for it to be silent for a few minutes until (Y/N) heard soft snoring. He got up to carry Yukino to his bed and snuggle her up in his blankets. He grabbed a pillow and blanket to lay down on the couch as he fell asleep.

A Few Months Later

A month ago Makarov decided to drink some tea at (Y/N)'s café to come up with a discovery. He has the ability to turn crystals, jewels, and gems into dust and mix it  with beverage to help with nearly anything. So with the trust of Natsu, he gave (Y/N) an offer to make drinks, and make sweets for the guild. He would pay him every week and it was a benefit as the members could improve nd get stronger with (Y/N)'s beverages. Plus Erza could now get strawberry cheesecake whenever she wanted. Yukino was also given the opportunity to join Fairy Tail, to which she accepted. (Y/N) was in the guild hall as people drank and ate. He saw Natsu walk in, so he started to make a drink.

Natsu sat at the counter for (Y/N) to give him a drink. Natsu had some cuts and bruises, but when he drank the tea they all disappeared. He set the cup down, "Ahh, that hits the spot." "Do you never get in a fight?" "Aw come on, you know that I always need to break somethin'." "Well if you don't break anything of mine it's fine." "Hehe. Hey have you seen Yukino?" "She's on a job. She will be back tonight." "So what's been going on while I was gone?" "Well let's see."

That night (Y/N) made it home to open his door, but instead of his apartment being empty Yukino was standing there waiting for him, "Welcome home (Y/N)." (Y/N) looked happy, but a little confused too, "Yukino, what are you doing here? I thought you would be gone a little longer." "I said that so that I could clean up a little and make you dinner. As thank for everything that you've done." "You didn't have t-" Yukino put her finger over (Y/N)'s mouth, "Hush, now come eat dinner." (Y/N) sat down at the table with Yukino doing the same. She waited as (Y/N) took a bite, "Mmm, this is really good Yukino." This made her smile, "I'm glad that you like it. So how was the guild today?" "Well there was only two big fights today instead of four." Yukino giggled a little for (Y/N) to join her some. 

A few hours passed for the two to get ready for bed as they got in their pajamas. (Y/N) laid on the couch to have his arm got poked. He opened his eyes to see Yukino holding a pillow close to her as she looked down at him, "Can you, sleep next to me tonight?" (Y/N) blushed a little, "Uh, sure." Yukino took his hand as she led him to the bed. The two were now laying next to each other as they faced each other. The two had a red hue on their cheeks for Yukino to speak, "Thank you for helping me with everything. I fell on my back and you helped me back up." "It was the least I could do." "But you didn't have to. And you've helped ever since that day while I haven't done much to thank you." "You don't have to do much to thank me." "But why?" (Y/N) smiled as he rubbed Yukino's cheek, "Because I love you." Yukino's face turned red as she buried her face into (Y/N)'s chest to hide her embarrassment. (Y/N) wrapped his arms around Yukino for Yukino to look up at him, "I- I love you too." They then met in soft and tender kiss Yukino wrapped her arms around (Y/N).
