Her

Her. It was always her. It all started when I was on my way home. Things were nice. Weirdmageddon had passed. It was nice. Things seemed calm. The Pines twins had gone back to their home with their parents. Soos was running the Mystery Shack. Wendy worked after school. The two Stans, they were getting ready to leave.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I tripped on the root of a tree and fell into some bushes then rolled down a hill. Luckily it wasn't too steep. When I sat up and dusted myself off, I found myself fact to face with a cold stone statue of the demon who started it all. Bill. The flying yellow triangle himself.

I giggled quietly to myself and shook my head. "Not so powerful now, are you?" I sighed and sat in the grass. "You know, I can't believe you did that to me." I stared at the ground. "Possessing my girlfriend was not ok. Not to mention the fact that you prolonged the pain of our breakup. How did you even get the ability to possess her? What could she have wanted to make a deal with you for?"

I could almost feel a pair of gentle arms holding me, but I knew it was just my imagination. I stood up.

"I really hate you, Bill. I don't know how I couldn't tell that it wasn't her for so long. You tricked me into falling in love with a version of E/N that didn't even exist. You were playing me. But you know what the worst part is? I miss that version of her. The moment you left her body I started missing it. Even after we have been broken up for months now, I still miss it. I hate you for that. I hate you for making me this miserable." I gently ran my hand over his hand that was sticking out. "I hate you for making me love someone who was a fantasy." I looked him in the eye. "Goodbye, Bill."

I walked away and refrained from looking back. Seeing that monster again hurt, no matter whether or not he was alive. I walked to my house. One of the great things about living out in the woods is that so few people bother you so you can sleep any time of the day. I simply locked the door and went up to my bedroom. Before laying down, I took off my shorts, shirt and bra. I threw on a large t-shirt over my naked torso and underwear. I laid down and cuddled my pillow, burying my face in the soft fabric.

It wasn't long after my head hit that pillow before I fell asleep.

I ran through the field, chasing the Pines twins in a very competitive game of tag. We had been playing for hours and somehow managed to still have energy.

"Kids! Time to get back to the Mystery Shack!" Stanford exclaimed from the trees. Oddly enough, I couldn't see him, but I figured he was messing around with some sort of gadget while in the trees.

I decided to take a break before going home. I laid in the grass and let the warm summer air hit me.

"Look who's here," an oddly familiar voice sounded from all around me. I jumped up in surprise. "Little Y/N. I believe you and I have a few things to discuss."

"B-Bill? You're dead! I saw you!" I searched around me, trying to find him.

"You did. I kind of was. But here I am. Alive and well." He appeared in front of me. "I believe you wanted to talk to me."

"I have nothing else to say to you. I said my piece. Leave me alone."

"You may have said what you wanted, but I still have things to say and you will listen. But, they can be saved for when you wake up. For now, finish your nice little dream. I'll see you in the morning." He disappeared.

I didn't understand. What did he mean by "in the morning"? I didn't care. It had to have been my imagination. He was dead. He had to be.

Taking a deep breath, I sat down in the grass again, letting the warm breeze flow around me. I was trying to calm myself down and relax. The quiet engulfed me like a bean bag chair and I didn't want to leave. But I knew I had to wake up at some point.

I gasped as I sat up in my bed. I knew it. A dream was all it was. I sighed and laid back down. Something didn't feel right.

I reached for the blanket that usually laid on the end of my bed, but found nothing there. I opened my eyes and realized that not only was my blanket gone, but my entire bed had changed. Instead of my usual full sized bed, I sat in a king sized bed, covered in a huge F/C comforter. I felt my pillows. Nice black silk cases covered some of the softest pillows I had ever felt.

"Where am I?" I quickly got up. "Someone must've kidnapped me-but I'm not tied down. I've gotta still be dreaming, right?" I pinched myself. It hurt. "Nope. Not dreaming."

I walked over to the brown door that I could only imagine led to the rest of wherever I was. The doorknob was silver with a lock below it. My hand wrapped around the doorknob and turned it clockwise. I was surprised when the door slowly swung open.

Taking cautious steps, I exited the room. The hallway was small. Not too majorly long. The carpeting was red and the walls were a light grey.

I was torn away from my observations when I heard a loud crash come from one end of the hall. All of my better instincts told me to go the opposite direction, but something made me walk toward the noise. I tip toes to the door the noise had came from.

"Fucking Hell! Why does this have to be so difficult?" A female voice exclaimed. Although the voice sounded angry, something about it was smooth. It seemed to draw me in. I slowly opened the door. A woman was standing at the stove, holding a spatula. She wore a black and yellow striped skirt and a white button up shirt with black suspenders. Her hair was black with yellow tips. Over on the counter sat a black top hat similar to what a certain flying triangle wore.

My eyes widened. "Bill?"
