Wang Yibo grew up from a wealthy family, his parents are known as successful businessmen. Work always make them busy that they barely have time for their child.

As for someone who sees themselves as family their daily routine is terrible. Why terrible you ask? Everytime his parents left for work that'd be the time he wakes up and the moment he fell asleep his parents would arrive home spotting their child sleeping peacefully with their clothes on his hands. As a child who seeks affection from his parents he would get their clothes and sniff their scents until he falls asleep that's the only way he’d feel safe and protected. Immediately after the scent would worn off, he’d get another pair of clothes and snuggled to it.

Sad right? Nonetheless who cares about those things? Who cares about his struggles? Who cares about his lack of maternal and paternal affection? When people sees them as the most perfect family thinking that money has it all.

No. Money doesn’t make a perfect family. It never was and it never will. As for Yibo’s experienced it only made his family grew apart from each other without them realizing it.

When he was a child he was known as a spoiled brat, someone who instantly gets what he wants and if not he’d go feral. Wang Yibo’s parents couldnt careless to spend money for him no matter how much it would costs. For them it's their only way of showing parenting. They seems to not mind that their only child grew up being distant to people thinking that it was normal for his age to be shy and slow to making friends.

Nevertheless his isolation to people didn’t only stayed on his childhood phase. He went to middle school, still the same. Went to senior school, still the same. Went to advance school, still the same, no progress at all.

Mr and Mrs Wang became anxious and worried for their son who already reached 23 years old because at such age he didn’t still gain friends and he actually never been on a relationship, not even just a fling.

There are countless times that they tried to pursue their friend’s daughter to him. However, Wang Yibo didn’t show interest to them at all. He won't even give them a glance!

”Mama, I’m a grown up man. You have to stop linking me to your friend’s daughter.” Wang Yibo complained to them one time.

Mrs Wang barely gets mad to him but that time, she raised her voice, ”No! As long as I see that you don’t open your heart to people, I will never stop trying until so!”

”But, Mama..”

Mrs Wang waved her hands in the air, ”No buts, Yibo. I am doing this for you!”

Wang Yibo helplessly glance over to his father's hoping that as a husband he’ll be able to calm his wife and convince her to stop recommending girlfriends to their son.

The father shook his head, he sighed and gave him a pat on his shoulder, ”I’m sorry kid. Your mother is right, we are doing this for your own good.”

”How is this for my own good? This thing is tormenting me! It has to be stop!”

”You see, me and your mom are growing old. We’re too old to look after you. It’s a sad fact that we will not be here with you for your whole life. You have to understand your mom, she doesn't want to leave you here all alone without someone to spend your life with.”

Wang Yibo scoffed on his mind. What nonsense is he talking about? They never even took care of him when he was a child. Where were they when he needed their care and attention the most? They were busy at work! Who was with him the whole time? The servants!

”No, Dad listen to me. I am capable of taking care of my own self, I don't need anyone!”

The old man sighed, ”You’re telling me this because you haven't meet the one yet. We’ll see until when you can hold your words.”

When the old Wang exited the room, Yibo immediately threw the things on his table, leaving a mess on the floor. He tossed himself on the bed and his body bounce from the impact.

Why did they have to act like this now that he can completely take care of his own self? If they were by his side when he was a child only then maybe he didn't isolate himself from people, maybe he tried to easily accept and trust them and most importantly maybe he tried to open his heart.

All he asked for was their love and attention. But upon from growing up, it seems easy to get other people's attention rather than from his own parents.

After hitting by puberty so hard, Wang Yibo gained a lot of admirers not only because he was rich but also of his good face! A good looking face that made everyone shakened their hearts.

But, it doesn't really matter. All they want from him is his riches, if not, the popularity that people would gain from him or maybe because of the mere reason that he's handsome.

Good features would eventually worn off, if they only like him for his good looks what would happen when the time comes that his face would turned old and wrinkly?

As he assumed, they will eventually left him behind.
