Thump...Thump....Thump....
The Careless Woman sits on her chair by her studio desk. In her hand is a tall shot glass of whiskey. She sits on her fancy chair, as her long, elegant, blue and green checkered dress covers her legs as she folds them. The careless woman takes off her brown wide brimmed hat, and places it on her messy desk, as she sighs in annoyance.
"Anything you need now Blair!?" Says a woman, in her mid 20s, wearing a denim jumpsuit and cat-eye shaped eyeglasses. She seems annoyed and overworked.
"No," Replies The Careless Woman with the name "Blair", "Well, yes I do actually, can you refill my shot glass?"
The Careless Woman chugs the whiskey, and puts it in the hands of her attendant, Mia. Mia looks at the shot glass, puzzled, but in a tired way.
"Tsk Tsk Tsk... You should really get a move on with that book..." Mumbles Mia, hoping Blair could hear her as she walks away.
"I will," Replies Blair, "Well, at least I'll try to. After you give me another shot of whiskey." Mia sighs, "Seriously, Blair it's been almost 2 years and you haven't even written more than a chapter!" She says, refilling the shot glass at a close bar counter in the same room.
The room itself is elegant- within the spacious room comes with a counter bar, old and vintage like, a lounging area, a broad workspace desk, and a wooden ladder, leading to a second storey within the room, with bookshelves within bookshelves of novels.
"Yea, yea I know!" Exclaims Blair, "just give me my whiskey already!"
Mia returns with the shot glass of whiskey, and places it on Blairs messy workspace. Blair immediately takes it and takes a sip."Are you seriously out of ideas?!" Questions Mia, "You know, fans will definitely love your book once it's published! It's probably-"
"This isn't whiskey, isn't it?" Claims The Careless Woman, "This is water with multiple shots of vanilla syrup."
Mia stares at her with shock.
"Well yes, but, I just want you to get on with your-"
"Go refill it with WHISKEY!" Yells Blair, "Ugh, geez, do you have a death wish?! Im not dumb! I can tell the difference between whiskey and other substances!"
Mia takes the glass anxiously and refills it with whiskey.
"Ugh, forget it," sighs The Careless Woman, standing up and wearing her wide brimmed hat, "I'm going out."
Mia looks up, alerted of The Careless Womans departure, "Where are you going?"
"Hm, somewhere," Replies The Careless Woman, although you can't see her face because of her hat, "Maybe to a pub or to a clothes store."
Mia sighs, as The Careless Woman, without a care in the world, walks out of the room.
