Chap.9 studying

Your POV

Right after we got to the dorms,Iida told us to study since we had an upcoming exam in a few weeks.Almost all of them agreed and the rest said they'll study later.

I went to my room and unpacked my dirty clothes,then i layed on my bed.After a few minutes of doing nothing i decided to study too,i cleaned my desk and took out my notes.Mr.Aizawa said i could just not join the exam since i haven't gotten the notes from the start of the semester but i wanted to since i wanted to be like them and not get left behind like in my real life.

I was reading my notes when someone knocked on my door."Who is it?" i asked,"It's me!Midoriya,and Uraraka and Todoroki's also here" he said from the other side of the door.I told them to come in,i asked if they needed anything.

"We were wondering if we could study together in your room" Deku said while scratching his head.I agreed and they all sat aroud a small table i had on the floor.We all sat around the table,i was reading my notes Todoroki also was reading his notes,Uraraka was doing some math problems and Deku was helping her.

To be honest i really wanted to talk to Deku but he was really focused on Uraraka.I didn't even notice my face changing from a well just my regular face into a sort of upset face."Hey L/N,is something wrong?" Deku asked with a worried tone."Huh?Oh yeah!i was just... uh thinking about the exam." I lied.

After a few hours,they called it a day and went back to their rooms.But Todoroki stayed in my room,"You..need anything, Todoroki?" i asked while opening my other notebook and reading that.He looked at me,i was confused then he said "You should make your first move quickly before you lose him to someone else".

It took me a hot second and after realising what he meant i looked down.He then walked out of my room.I know i should listen to Todoroki before i lose Deku but it's not like i've known him for long,well i do but he doesn't so it feels weird if confess to him this early.I decided to shrug it off and focus on my studies.

I studied until night and decided to take a break and slept.The next day i woke up early to re-read all my notes.I'm not the most dedicated person ever but somehow i felt like i wanted to do good at this exam,or that's what i thought... .I went downstairs after 1 hour of reading and got ready,i ate breakfast and got my bag.

On my way to school i saw Deku and Uraraka talking to each other.They were blushing and laughing,i was really jealous.To be honest i never knew i could be THIS jealous,so i shruged it off again and focused on getting to school.

In class Mr.Aizawa talked more about the exam and that we wouldn't get phisycal training since we needed to focus on the exam."L/N are you sure you want to join the exam?" he asked while looking at me.I nodded and said "Don't worry sir,i could just ask for notes from lessons i missed from someone".He nodded in return and started the lesson.

Then lunch came,i decided to bring my notebook and read while eating.I sat alone because i wanted to focuse reading and eating without any distractions.But then i heard "HA!A CLASS 1-A STUDENT BEING LEFT ALONE?AND IT'S THE SPECIAL SKY GIRL!HAHAHAHAHA" as i expected it was Monoma.

I was so annoyed but then Deku came along and defended me from this crack head of a bully.Then Kendo showed up and as usual knocked Monoma out and apologized,i said it was okay and they left.Deku then moved from his table to mine,"Huh?why are you sitting with me and not them?" i asked."You seemed a bit alone so i wanted to accompany you" he said while picking up his chopsticks.

I was happy not gonna lie,i then put down my notebook and ate while talking to him.Then class started again,i got new notes and i really focused on the teachers and their lessons.Then school hours ended and we went back to our dorms.Even though the exam is still 2 weeks and 6 days far but i was really nervous.I hope i pass.
