“Again?!” Cordelia shouted as soon as she woke up from her dream. “What is happening, why do I keep-“ Cordelia couldn’t even finish her sentence and was interrupted by Zoe. “Cordelia, you okay?.” She forcefully opened the door. “Yeah, I’m sorry, I was just having a bad dream…” She gasped. “But why aren’t you sleeping, Zoe, it’s 4 AM?” “Oh, I couldn’t sleep so I was going for some water and then I heard you.” Cordelia put her glasses on and looked at Zoe. “Everything’s fine, go and try to get some sleep.” Zoe said good night and closed the door.

“Wow Cordelia what’s going on with you”, she went to the bathroom and washed her face. “There’s nothing you could’ve done that day to save her and you know it, oh but she was so young and innocent.” her voice was starting to crack. Cordelia reached for some pills to help her sleep, but then stopped “But wait… if these dreams keep coming to me, the same ones again and again then can they actually mean something, is someone trying to send me a message? If only auntie Myrtle was here, she would know what to do.”

THE NEXT MORNING

Cordelia put a cute, dark, knee-deep dress on and stepped out of her bedroom. The house was quiet, she could only hear her steps while going down the stairs, the angel’s stairs, everybody called. Delia grabbed a donut and a cup of coffee and went to get the books she needed to prepare herself for the class she had later in the “School for Exceptional Young Ladies” which was 3 blocks away because Miss Robichaux's Academy was obviously too small for all the girls. “Hey, Cordelia!” Queenie called. “Good morning, Queenie, what d’you got there?” Cordelia asked looking interested. “I was cleaning Spalding’s room and I discovered a secret place behind his closet where I found these really old books. I was thinking you should check them out.” Queenie handed the pile of books to Delia and walked away. Cordelia went into the greenhouse so no one could bother her and that was also the place which reminded her of Misty. “So what do we have here, Delia?” She was going through the books and all of them seemed familiar to her. “What could this be?” The last book which was on the table caught her eye and it had written “Reversusque de Morte” on it, which meant “returning from death.” She took a look inside and found a chapter about a personal hell. “It says that if you end up in hell, it’s not impossible to escape from it, t-that if you want to bring someone back, there is a way, but you would have to be-“ Cordelia stopped reading after she saw the word SUPREME. “Is this some kind of a j-joke??” She yelled and she took a better look at it. “No matter how crazy it is, I’ll try it, there’s nothing more I could lose.” There were a few things she had to do, first she took one of Misty’s dress because it said that you needed to have something from that person. Then she poured a black powder, comprised of different herbs into a biggish circle. She stepped in and said: “Ego faciam tibi sequi vocem meam, can you hear me, Misty?” Delia could hear someone crying. “Come to me, Misty.” She didn’t see anything, everything was foggy and the light was too bright for her, but she tried to move following the crying. “No no, don’t make me do it, I don’t want to.” Cordelia knew who’s voice that was, it was Misty’s. “MISTYY CAN YOU HEAR ME, I’M HERE” She yelled panting and tried to touch something, anything. “Miss Cordelia?” Misty said in her sobbing voice.

Cordelia finally touched her hand and grabbed her as fast as she could. “I got you.” As Cordelia said that, the brightness extinguished.
