Why do my friends bother in finding me someone?

I don't really like the idea of me dating an opposite sex but I don't even like the idea of telling my friends about that also.

Brandon suddenly smiles and waves someone from my back. We are currently inside a popular club owned by Brandon's family.

"Hey gorgeous, amazing dress!" He welcomes his girlfriend and ushers them to our space. His girlfriend, Mia, is not alone.

So this is their plan, making me meet someone from Mia's group of friends. I tried so hard not to roll my eyes.

"I absolutely agree. Hello, Mia!" Cid said but too busy with his phone. Cid's girlfriend didn't like the idea of this night out (because she have a hectic schedule and she can't come with his boyfriend) but the moment she knew the reason, she agreed right away. "Well, maybe it's already time to have someone, Wes. You're a good-looking guy but you've been single for years!" She chirped.

Mia's friends suddenly sit beside me. One in my left and one in my right, making me feel uncomfortable. I looked to Brandon and Cid, and damn. They look so busy but I can clearly see their smirks.

"Excuse me, I need to call someone" I said the moment the girls icky hands travel from my knees to my thigh. I didn't wait for their response and head outside quickly.

I NEED TO GO HOME. I don't like it here.

I was already near to the door when someone bumped me. This person's strong and taller than me because I lost balance. I ended up sitting on the floor. He stopped from his track and helped me.

"Oh, sorry. I'm in a hurry. Are you okay?"

And there I was shocked. He is not a he BUT a she. His voice, I mean, her voice is so soothing.  I'm a little bit confused but she seems so manly. Her features- her nose, eyes, height.

"I-I am okay." Is all I can muster. She smiled, bowed, and is saying something. I can't hear her. The next thing I knew, she's gone.

Wow. I was never intrigued by a woman before.
