A/N: I plan to have Samantha journey as a Pokemon trainer through the regions along with Ash and his friends from Brock and Misty in Johto. May, Max, and Brock in Hoenn. Dawn and Brock in Sinnoh. To Iris and Cilan in Unova. And finally Serena, Clemont and Bonnie in Kalos. Her brother Cody might start traveling with Ash and them in the next regions. I don't think I will have him join them while in Johto but he will most likely run into them every now and then.
Samatha's POV
Today Ash's friends and I were continuing our journey to Violet city for me and Ash's first gym battle. We were strolling through a beautiful leafy forest.
"Hey, that's weird the whole forest is green except for those trees there, " Ash said.
"Yeah they don't have a single leaf left on their branches, " Misty said.
I looked at the tree and saw Ash and Misty were both right.
"The trees don't look burned and it not fall yet. So it too early for the leaves to drop off, " Brock explained.
I looked around and spotted a large tree, and notice some Pokemon on it, "Look, everyone!" I shouted point at the tree.
The others then looked at where I was pointing and saw a group of blue-beetle like Pokemon and they all look like they are sucking the tree sap.
"What are they?" Misty asked.
"They look like Heracross to me, " I said recognizing that Pokemon because my mom had one.
"Heracross huh?" Ash question pulling out his Pokedex and scanned the Pokemon.
I also took out my Pokedex to check out Heracross information.
[Heracross, the single Horn Pokemon. Though gentle and docile, Heracross possesses great strength and power. Its favorite food is fresh sap from leafy trees.]
"I'm going to try and catch all those Heracross. I can save the tree and get some neat Pokemon!" Ash exclaimed.
"I don't think that a good idea. Ash is kind of cute and all but he not that bright, " I thought to myself.
"Hold it, young man, " A male voice said from behind us.
We turned around to see a man with dark brown hair and a beard he is wearing a dark orange Ranger outfit with black boots, white gloves, and a helmet and a backpack.
"You're free to catch the Heracross if you like but you might just cause more harm to the forest, " the man said.
"Who are you?" Ash asked.
"My name is Woodruff and I'm a ranger for the forest and wildlife bureau, " Woodruff said.
"My name's Ash, experience.
"And mine's Brock, " Brock said.
"And my name's Misty, " Misty said.
"And my name is Samantha, " I said.
"Well, I imagine you all are experienced Pokemon trainers, " Woodruff said.
"Yes, " Ash said.
"Well I'm just starting out on my journey, " I said.
"Well I'm sure you are eager to catch as many Heracross as you can but you might cause a great deal of damage to this forest if you do," Woodruff said.
"Really?" Ash said.
"It's important to understand how deltaic the balance of nature can be," Woodruff said.
