Over the years I've considered myself a good story writer. But I've also dabbled in drawing. What you're about to see are the drawings I've done. I welcome any and all suggestions on how to improve my drawing, but please be nice about it.
I know before I was kinda hyped about making a comic for Mary and Claire, but that's kinda being put on hold for the creation of a new comic I call Adaptable. It's a sort of parody, meant to playfully poke fun of and reference action Anime like Dragon Ball or Naruto. I can't go into too much detail, but I can give you its main cast.

Name: Mark Draken Age: 21 Power: Transformation Ex Machina. Any time he's being beaten to near death by a stronger enemy, he'll transform to attain a new level of power (as you can probably tell, most of these forms reference actual anime forms). Exactly what form he takes depends on who or what he's fighting, but in most cases it's a perfect trump card. Personality: Despite his endless potential, Mark is actually pretty lazy and gluttonous. If it were up to him he'd spend all day eating tasty food and playing videogames. But he reluctantly uses his powers for good because his childhood friend Susan insists.

Name: Susan Marigold Age: 24 Power: Shapeshifting limbs. Born with a very... Odd biology, Susan can reshape the bones, muscles, skin, etc of her arms and even her legs. She can also super harden her limbs to a steel-like toughness. As a result she can turn her limbs into razor sharp blades and bullet proof shields. Personality: Susan is responsible and smart, mostly because she has no other choice. While she is fun loving and likes to relax when possible, her moral compass often leads her to seel out problems to fix, dragging her friends with her.

Name: Ryan Thomas Age: 22 Power: Cartoon Biology. Like Susan, Ryan was born with an unusual body. His body is completely malleable, allowing him to survive almost anything the same way a cartoon character would. You could drop a moon on the guy and all it would do is flatten him for a couple seconds before popping back into 3D shape. Granted, he still feels pain so he prefers to avoid getting crushed. Personality: Ryan is... Well... Pretty lecherous most of the time. He'll flirt with any girl he comes across or outright try to grope them. As you can guess, this NEVER works out well for him. Still, despite his perversion and lack of combat skill, he does have a good heart and won't hesitate to be a human shield for his friends.

Name: Shade (real name unknown) Age: 25 Power: Shadow bending. Fueled by his immense edginess and angst (yes really), Shade can control the shadows themselves. He can give these shadows a physical form to grab, strike, cover, or crush foes. His power grows the darker it is, his shadows can protect him from psychic attacks, and if his shadow touches yours, he'll instantly learn everything about you. All in all, kinda broken... Personality: Driven by a revenge quest to find the one who killed his entire family, Shade takes the traits of the Edgelord trope and cranks it up even further. He's moody, pessimistic, and often quiet. He's dedicated to his revenge quest, but as he joins Mark's team, he slowly starts to realize maybe friends aren't such a bad thing...
