And here's one of my favorite ocs of mine, Kara. Anyone who's read my Petrified comic knows one of its main characters Kai. Well this is her older half sister. If you were to describe the perfect heiress, you'd get someone like Kara. Strong, smart, lovely, and a natural leader. However, her apparent perfection seems to have gone to her head, and she views all of humanity, and even her own sister, as dirt beneath her feet. She's also quite irritable, mainly because despite being the first born and better qualified, she's still in competition with Kai for the right to be queen. But to those who are on her good side, you couldn't ask for a better ruler.
So what do you think of her? I personally really like her.
Update: Welp, because I got bored today I decided to draw Kara in the style of the girlfriend from Friday Night Funkin.
I also used this as an opportunity to try and get better at shading. Personally I think this is great.
Another Update:
I recently drew a sort of redesign, for how Kara may look later on in the comic. Her arm made of fire looks a little flat, but otherwise I like this. Any tips for how I could improve are welcome.
Random add on, but I stumbled across one of my very first drawings of Kara and thought I'd share it:
Man this brings back memories... Kara was originally conceptualized as Kai's twin, which is why in her first design she has a lock of white hair similar to Kai. There were a lot of differences in conceptualization between then and now. Back then she was going to be a rival to Kai for a relationship inspired by Inuyasha and Sesshomaru, but now she serves a completely different purpose. Her bangs look a little weird here, but over all this was a pretty solid design for the time I was making it. Even today, as I'm working on an animated short with the two draconic sisters as the stars, Kara's design is still largely the same. Same long red hair that covers her right eye, same red dress with a slit, heck even her boots somewhat survived as she now wears similar high heeled, black colored footwear. What do you think? Was this a decent first try, or did I miss something then that I'm still missing today?

RandomOver the years I've considered myself a good story writer. But I've also dabbled in drawing. What you're about to see are the drawings I've done. I welcome any and all suggestions on how to improve my drawing, but please be nice about it.
