"Well I'll see you tomorrow" Silas smiled at me as I got out his car

I saw my car parked in the open garage perfectly, which was weird because Lyla is the worst driver ever. I never came home late without telling my parents where I was, so I was praying they weren't up.
I reached into my backpack for my keys but I remembered my house keys are on my lanyard. I was gonna try and climb through my window when I noticed the door was unlocked. Uh oh
As soon as I opened the door my momma, daddy and Lyla were all sitting on the couch.
"Lol heyyy yall" I tried to joke
"Sit" was all my momma said so I joined them on the couch
"Where were you?" she asked

I watched as Lyla tried her hardest not to laugh.
"Did you get dick? Usually sex has girls feeling really bold! Please don't tell me you lost your virginity Zyra" my daddy stood up
I laughed, "I didn't do anything daddy. I was with my friend Silas, we went to Subway and then chilled and now here we are"
"Silas is the same tall lightskin who went to your open mic?" my momma asked

"Right!" she said winking at me meaning we'll finish this later, "It's 10:45 but seeing that your curfew is 11 I'll let you slide just this one time"
"Okay goo-" I was cut off by my daddy
"Do it again and I'll beat yo ass" he pointed at me and stomped upstairs
My momma waited until she heard the room door close before she looked at me
"BITCHHHH, so what did Silas say?" she asked
"Ms. Diya you crazy" Lyla laughed
"Shut up Lyla. We're waiting Zyra"
"Well I had a really bad day and he noticed"
"Why were you having a bad day?" Lyla asked
I told the story about that racist Moss again, which only made my mama say she was gonna beat her ass.
"Okay so back to Silas" Lyla said
