The light sound of tapping echoed through the Future Foundation library, with an occasional flipping of a book page. It was quiet in the library, just the way Byakuya liked it. Sadly, that silence was ruined by none other than Mondo Oowada, the Ultimate Biker Gang Leader. "God you're so borin'."

Byakuya sighed, a bit of irritation in his tone. His fingers lined the slightly aged pages, skimming through the text he'd read a thousand times over. "Then leave."

"I CAN'T." Mondo yelled, slamming his hands down against the hard wood table in a seemingly common fit of rage. The motion made no noise, as his hands simply faded through the wood.

"Mondo... Please calm down..."

Chihiro Fujisaki and Mondo Oowada, his former classmates, had been following Byakuya around for a while now. That may sound creepy, but let me explain.

Mondo and Chihiro were bound to Byakuya. In their deaths, they were forced to stay by his side. While the three are unsure of the circumstances that caused this, there is currently nothing they can do about it. And there they were, arguing for the millionth time today.

"Sometimes I wish I had actual hands so I could strangle you...!"

"That's mean, Mondo...." Chihiro mumbled under his breath, still quite terrified of the bigger boy. His ghostly hands tangled together in an attempt to soothe his anxiety.

"I'm sure you wouldn't even make it halfway across the library before someone begs you to stop and you give in."

"Hngh... Byakuya don't tease him..." Chihiro curled his legs up into a ball, placing his head between his knees.

"See!! You're making Chihiro upset!!!" Mondo yelled, aggressively gesturing towards the smaller boy.

"I think you made him more upset when you bashed his skull in." The words were proceeded by a smirk from the blonde, who hadn't even bothered to look up from his book.

"ATLEAST I DIDN'T HANG THE FUCKING BODY, YOU FUCKER-!"

"Guys, please stop..!!!" Chihiro intervened, pulling the conversation to a stop. Mondo looked at him with sorrow, realizing he may have taken it too far. Byakuya, however, didn't even bother to acknowledge the smaller boy. Chihiro looked down, tightly hugging onto his legs.

A few seconds of silence followed the argument, as it usually did. The only sound filling the library was the faint noise of a page flipping. And tapping. No, walking.

Byakuya turned, hearing the steps grow closer and closer. Eventually, they came to a stop in front of the library. The door slowly creaked open as Makoto Naegi, Byakuya's former and currently alive classmate entered the dimly lit room. "Hey, Byakuya, are you talking to someone..??"

Mondo laughed in a teasing manner, an arm casually nudging Byakuya. "Oooo, look its your boyfr-"

"Hm? No, I'm not. You must be hearing things." Byakuya swiftly replied, cutting Mondo off and ignoring the comment. He turned back to his book, slipping a bookmark into his current spot.

"Mondo.. You shouldn't say stuff like that.." Chihiro muttered, letting his legs fall and dangle off the chair he was seated in.

"Oh.. Okay, I just thought I heard something..." Makoto chuckled, in a sort of calming way. The lucky student somehow always knew how to brighten the room, whether it be from inspiring words or a simple smile.

"He's not listening anyway, what's it matter what I say?" Mondo crossed his arms over his chest, letting out a small sigh.

"It might've been from the next room over." Byakuya shut the hard covered book, gently placing it on to the table.
