The Burning Truth (Slow Updates)

Just like any other night Enji was sitting on his bed looking through the family photo album as guilt slowly wash over him. Each picture brings back memories of how the Todoroki's used to be happy. As Enji was flipping through the pages he stop at two pictures that makes his heart ache. One was photo of him, Toshinori, Shouta, and Hizashi all wearing a black suit as sadness was written all over their face. This picture was taken after their friend Shirakumo funeral. He still remember that day when Shouta and Hizashi told the news.

~ Flash Back ~
Enji was using his quirk to fly back to UA dorms after he's intern ship. He gotten a text from Shouta saying that he got some bad news. When Enji made it to the dorms he rushed to the common room seeing Shouta, Hizashi, and Toshinori but not Shirakumo. He walked towards them feeling his heart hummer against his chest. Once he was standing next to Toshinori, he saw that Shouta eyes were blood shot red and puffy so was Hizashi.

"Guys what happened and where's cloud head? " Enji asked as his voice sounded monotone but his eyes was full of worry.

"That's what we wanted to talk to you guys about... " Hizashi voice was low and cracked a little.

Shouta took a deep breath and looked at them. "H-he's..... He's dead.... "

Shouta was holding back tears as he told them about their friend death. Enji and Toshinori looked at them as their eyes began to tear up.

"W-what do you mean he's dead?? " Toshinori asked letting tears run down his face.

Hizashi choked on a sob before saying "He was crushed to death..."

Enji couldn't hold back his tears any more and let out sob. The dorms was dead silence only the sound of four male 3rd years crying. Their friend died before he even gotten a chance to graduate.

Tears was running down Enji face at that memory. None of them said word after Shirakumo funeral. The second photo was a picture of Touya when he was born. Enji choke on a sob when he saw the picture. How long was it since Touya went missing? Enji loss count as the years went by. Oh, how he wish he could see his oldest son again, he would do anything to bring back. But Touya is a villain now and Enji can do nothing but blame himself for it.

'Image what your siblings and mother would think about the man you've become.. ' More tears run down his face when he heard that voice.

It's been over 20 years since he last seem them. He soon felt homesick thinking about them and Russia, where he was born. He wondered how they were doing and if they even miss him. He always wanted to see them or call them even but he wouldn't let him. No matter how much he beg or cry the answer was always the same. Enji would do anything in the world just to see them. He want his kids to meet their grandma, uncles, and aunts. He let a loud sob and buried his face in his hands. Its a good thing he's the only one home or so he thought.

Touya snuck in his old room through a window. He was looking around his room until he heard a loud sob down the hallway. He quietly walked out his room making sure he didn't make a sound. As he continued to walk down the hall the crying was getting louder. When he got closer to the room the crying was coming from, he stop dead in his tracks when found out where the crying was coming from. His dad's room door was halfway closed with a crack big enough to peek inside the room. He saw Enji sitting on his bed back facing the door as he was crying with his face buried in his hands. Touya felt a strong pain in his chest. He wanted to run in there and hug his dad and tell him it's alright. But he couldn't, no matter how much it hurt him to see his dad cry like that. He quietly walk back to his room and shut the door and let a sigh.

"I'll come home soon dad.... just wait for me." He said as he climbed out his window closing it afterwards.

He walks towards the gate entrance to the Todoroki's estate and type in the pin to open the gates. The gates automatically opened and Touya walks through the open gates as they closed once again behind him. Even though Touya wanted to stay and comfort Enji, he knows he can't not yet.

He left for a reason and he swore that he won't come back home until he permanently get rid of him out of his family life.

Enji finally stopped crying and layer down on his side looking out the window. Sleep slowing taking over him as he close his eyes hoping that things would be better and Touya would finally come back home.

The next morning Enji wakes up and get ready to head to his agency. He decided to skip breakfast and head out the front door. Enji locks the door and type in the pin to the gate entrance. Once the gate open he walks through it as the gate closes behind him.

The temperature outside was nice and Enji decided to walk to the agency instead of calling his personal driver today.

'It's quite peaceful today..' Enji thought to himself as he walked the sidewalks of a not so busy neighborhood.

People was either walking or driving past him without spearing a singal glance. To Enji he was glad and he didn't really have the energy to talk to any citizens.

Enji sees his agency up ahead and spotted Burnin outside of the agency talking to a random citizens. As he walks more and more closer he can slowly hear Burnin and the random citizens conversation.

"Ma'am for the last time Endeavor is not here and you're not alone in the building." Burnin said slightly getting irritated with the lady.

Enji can only let out a deep sigh knowing that the lady won't be leaving anytime soon and probably don't have any thing good to say to him. But it's normal for Enji know for random citizens to do this, he see it more as a daily routine for him the it should be.

"Looks like I have to deal this before a it catches people attention for the twentieth time this week.." Enji mumbles to himself.

Yo! I'm doing an edit on some of the chapters (mostly just 1 and 2) only on wattpad for right now.
